Heh be interesting having a Sengoku Basara character in. If you have Date Masamune you kinda need Sanada Yukimura though, OYAKATA-SAMA~!
If a Sengoku Basara character gets in, during their level 3 it needs to play the BASARA KO theme, especially if it ends the match.

In my perfect world, Krauser makes the roster and has a level 3 where he gets to use his mutated arm which would be ridiculously broken for like 10 seconds. It would make Spencers arm feel like a Bionic Pillow.

TVC alex transposed to this game would rock, especially if he gets to keep his air combo->HYPA BOMB! combos
If they put Omega back in they should give him a death field like Pheonix has a healing field. That was his main gimmick in the comic afterall. Longer you fight him the weaker you get until you die.

Since the original speculation thread got lost in the shuffle, I’m going to let this one run for it.
Having a “Super/Hyper” MvC3 in the works just 3 months after the original game’s release still seems a bit quick to me.
However Capcom pulled the same stunt with SF4/SSF4 and Lupinko has been credible enough through time.
My guess is they’ll pull Disc and DLC release, similair to SSF4 AE.
If polls were any indication, I think Strider will be a given.
(That is if Capcom works things out with it’s co-owner, but I think he’s willing to make a buck after “Moon Diver”)
But here’s the funny part, we all know if he makes it he won’t be 100% similair to his MvC2 counterpart.
(Which would be logical)
I can already forsee the shitstorm of salty people claiming this not Strider, bla bla.
But hey, that’s human nature lol
Since Frank West was pretty far in development for MvC3, chances we’ll see him resurface (and fixed 
) for the updated MvC3.
(Plus it would shameless promotion for the upcoming Frank version of Dead Rising 2)
I expect a 3rd Devil May Cry rep (if only for a full DMC team like RE), with Vergil being the most logical choice due to DMC3 being the most popular installment and the lack of Capcom villians.
And definitely, at least one more Megaman rep;
Due to Megaman (according to Capcom) being a character that has not enough unique stuff to offer.
Sigma fits the bill more than anyone else; Capcom’s needs villans.
The guy has enough incarnations to pull a movelist from, give the guy something like a Viral mode hyper upon k.o.
and you have a character with impact on the roster.
(Besides I’m sporting a Sigma avatar for a reason 
On a final Capcom side note… Red Arremer doesn’t fly around on that G&G stage for nothing
As for Marvel’s side, I’m not really that up to date, what’s hot on that side.
I hope we get some info during E3 (although I’m afraid Capcom will focus more on SFxT during E3),
because the fake Cyclops screenshot re-ignited a bit of that pre-MvC3 reveal trailer hype within me 
Well at least Capcom hasn’t forgot about him with RE Mercenaries 3D
BTW wasn’t Lupinko also responsible for the detailed SSF4 leak?
