As long as it’s on par with SSF4 I’ll buy it. Unfortunately, the leap from MvC3 to SSF4 quality is about 10 times what it was for SF4 to SSF4.
LOL at people complaining about oversatuaration of the market. You know, most of the people that sat and played cvs2, 3s and mvc3 for 10 years before getting new games, all we bitched about was getting new fighters the whole time. Now we have TONS of fighters and people are still bitching. Enjoy the fighting game renaissance. I know I will…AE, MVC3 + Update, Skull Girls, MK9, KOF13, TTT2, SXT, AH3 all in the span of a year. The real problem is, how the hell am I going to divy up practice time for all these damn games?

no need to practice in mvc3, the game is so random just activate x-factor and mash buttons.
no need to practice in mk9, just complete the kombat tower then sell you’re game and your online access code.

If they’re going to do a “Super” update, then I think we’ll be seeing them attempt to match and/or beat the character count from MvC2.
Nah, 6 to 8 more characters most likely. That puts the number in the early 40s which is a respectable roster size for any game. MvC2’s roster was a stunt more than anything!
yeah, more than half the cast was a joke in competitive play. i’d rather have less characters, but all of them have a chance of winning, as opposed to 5 vanilla sagats and 50-something dans on the character select screen.
