Please, everyone knows it was Indestructible that inspired all the growth in SF4.
I knew this would happen, and yet I went and bought the Special Edition anyway. You were not worth it, crappy comic book! You were not worth it, art book! You were barely worth it, Jill, although you were definitely worth it, Shuma-Gorath.
I swear to god, if this isn’t just DLC, I will flip. You can’t trade in Special Editions, I’m fairly sure, at least when they come in dat-ass case. So if I do trade in MvC3, I’ll have dat shiny-ass case sitting around…although to be honest, I guess that would be a good idea to just swap boxes.
The irony is this there’s a better chance of less crappy netcode in a disc release. If it’s cheap DLC…netcode’s still crappy.
yeah…
LOL, oh well. It’s the way of the world I guess.
It was. That song and the amazing intro kept me playing that game.
2 months and they might already be working on this kind of shit?
Wow. Just, wow. Hopefully it will be DLC, because there’s no way in hell I’m buying this game again.
theres never going to be good netcode in a new capcom fighter
what difference does it make that this was announced? it’s not like they said they are already in development and have a concrete release date. i honestly don’t expect this until 2012 which is fine by me. capcom would be retarded to try to compete for sales with either ssf4:ae or sfxt.
seriously by the time both ssf4:ae and sfxt drops, people will be bored of mvc3. and thats the perfect timing to revitalise the mvc3 community with hyper mvc3 or whatever it will be called.
it’s like people complaining about madden '11 when they know madden '12 will come out next year. at least capcom will unlikely charge full price again like ea does.
This is true, which is why I’m not gonna buy it regardless. Like I said, until I figure out why my ports aren’t properly opened, guess I’m done.
sf4 needed it stuff like viewing the other person pick their character ruined it for me
WTF…the case was the best part of the SE, real talk.
I think… people just like to say things on the internet. Things that make them sound hyper-critical and aware. How many times you seen somebody say “_______ or I’m not buying the game” on a fuckin forum or article comment space? And then that same game sells ridiculous amounts even though you seen that same phrase a hundred times. How many times in this very forum [certain posters] say “this and that or I’m not buying MvC3” and those same dudes talking like we forgot they said what they said?
I’m sure there are gamers who stick to their guns, but for those that say shit and don’t follow through (you know who you are) - stop posturing, we all know what time it is. In fact using the old phrase puts stock into you buying the game. It’s getting old. We heard it for SSF4, MvC3, and now a possible Hyper MvC3. And if you’re legit not getting a game; keep your boycotts to yourself it makes no difference to people willing to get a game. And no we don’t wanna hear about how we’re sheep or whatever, you’re just butthurt your stance isn’t validated. Save it.
Damn internets.
Damn.
That sure is an awful lot of “Baaaaaaaaa!”.
Ain’t nobody buying your wool?
Or are you using it all, having pulled it over your own eyes?
Sheep.
As I see it.

He’s taking a couple of people out of context for his own purposes… what a waste of time (and flesh?)
I tell you right now that if I didn’t have an offline scene to play with, I wouldn’t have even purchased the original MvC3. I knew from TvC that Eighting’s online code is garbage and that it was unreliable. When I gave them the benefit of the doubt for this game it pretty much proved that they hadn’t really bothered to step up their networking projects.
So I’ll be purchasing Super MvC3 to play with my friends, but if I only had online, I would as sure as hell wait for the netcode ratings before I purchased it.
I don’t think it’s a bad idea to hold off on the game if online is your only route.
As I see it.
As I see it, I see it the way you guys see it.
All this formulated bullshit that SRK follows about giving people grief for otherwise believing that a game is ass or not is frankly stupid. It’s simple if you’re a fan there’s nothing wrong with that, no point in trying to argue flaws with fandom. I’m definitely copping Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds 2 because I’m a fan of Marvel vs Capcom 3.
To be honest. I believe Lupinko more than any website quoting something out of seth or nitsuma… just saying. I wonder how he gets his stuff.
He’s Capcom’s viral agent.
who says you have to pay anything other then travel costs?
I wonder if this is what they meant by “we’ll fix the connection issue online”.
