Let’s be honest: A Nintendo vs Capcom would have balance mechanics far more intrusive than XF or Ultras. It would be a nerdgasm, but if you thought falling on your ass when in the lead is bad… lol (No seriously I’d buy a NvC so baaaaaad)
More on topic, I’m thinking more and more that this will be a DLC release as well as disc. There’s not all that much to add aside from characters, features, and slight rebalance. Key focus on features, because that to me was where the game dropped the ball most. I’m cool with the general gameplay (Dark Phoenix and all).
If it is true i just hope they try rebalance mvc3 before super mvc3 comes out.

Well, if this news is true (and that’s a big ‘if’ right now), than MvC3 is basically a dead game, and I would doubt Capcom is going to devote many resources to optimizing it before the sequel comes out. Subtle tweaks and glitch fixes, sure, but that would be about it.

Capcom is going to saturate the market all over again. This is ridiculous. Releasing half finished games, charging 80% for a “fixed” version a year later, then an additional 30% for a balance update a year after that. Goddamnit.

In my opinion, this is just me, I don’t buy games on release. I wait it out and then check on the community to see if its worth the purchase. I have yet to be disappointed.
Super MvC3 hopefully will have almost as much characters as it’s predecessor. I wonder if they’ll be a Score Attack/Time attack as those are my favorite modes.
