Lupinko says there will be a Super MvC3 [rambling and dreams: enter at your own risk]

I don mind. If its $60, trading in MvC3 should bring it down a lot.

I think it is more likely X-factor will get an overhall of some kind rather than a straight forward nerf.

first of all, nigga, dont address me you fucking scrub. second, um, yeah, i dont really post on srk anymore ever, so i dont know what the fuck your talking about, about walls of post. i post here like once a month now, if that, with last night meeting my quota as i was bored to tears. third, the community has become scrubby as shit. 4th, you dont read anything from me constantly saying shit about how things use to be. it might come up, but dont act like im harping on that shit every post i make in this disgustingly overpopulated by scrubs section of the forums. go back to pretending to be good at tvc.

anyways, point being, buy the update or dont. i dont see how niggas is complaining about another 20-40 bucks. oh no, you spent a whole 80-100 dollars over the course of 12 months on a game. waaaa. peace, you sucka ass niggas.

I’d like SRK a lot more if everyone was like you.

I thought I was alone in this

Kalyx triaD, I bet you would bend over and let Capcom blow a collective load all over you if they wanted.

Haha 100% agree

Does your parole officer know you are on here?

Let’s do some simple math, shall we?

I have, over the course of the past year, played 720 hours of SSF4. The price of admission for a 2 hour movie is about $8.50, being generous. Going by the 2 hours = 8.50 formula, SSF4 has provided me with $3,102.50 worth of entertainment. I could buy 30 more copies and still be ahead of the curve.

Cry more. Just an example. I haven’t put quite as much time into Marvel but the principle remains the same, I will stay well ahead of that pricing curve.

Hail yeah. A one time (or two time) price of $60 isn’t much for hundred of hours of entertainment. I’ve put at least 200 hours in every Pokemon game I’ve played. I think that’s worth a $30 cartridge to me.

This post does nothing to scratch the points I’ve made. People tend to get crude and primal when they reach their intellectual limits. How amusing you reach your point after a single reply.

Perhaps having actual conversations with actual people online isn’t for you.

Edit:

Jimmy1200 laying the smakdown.

Well that’s always the risk you take. Entertainment is subjective and can only be measured on an individual basis. If you didn’t enjoy the game that’s a shame, better luck next time. Don’t cry about updates though if you don’t even like the original game in the first place (not necessarily accusing you of crying, just saying in general).

ill pay for mvc3 light speed edition

I think this is actually a good point and that’s why, personally, I rather not use the ‘x hours of entertainment per price’ argument. Then you place stock on a subjective term and that’s a faulty move that pEe wEe rightfully countered.

So what I like to do is take the argument before the fact.

Nobody told you to buy the game, nobody is telling you to buy the game. And no, ads do not count. Ads are a tool for, no offense, the least critical types of consumers. The kind of dudes who see a TV ad and makes financial decisions based on it. I have personal misgivings on this kind of consumer but I won’t derail the thread into that rant. But my feelings *are *related to the point I’ve been making here.

pEe, you say you bought the game off hype? I’m sorry, this being one of the most played and analyzed fighting game pre-release I don’t think that’s good enough an excuse. This is not the fault of Capcom. However, I value that you are making this a learning experience. I hope you will be more critical about where you spend your money and no longer fall for hype. It seems like you’re well on your way. This I love to see.

You’re right in that not everyone will enjoy a game when they buy it, I didn’t mean to imply that. I’m just saying that if you DO enjoy the time you spend with the game that argument applies. If you don’t like the game, then you won’t give a shit about updates to it and shouldn’t be crying. If you DO like a game and spend ample time with it, logically speaking updates should be worth your money. Even if you don’t think it would be, it’s still not anything to cry about.

TL;DR If you don’t like it you have no reason to bitch, if you do like it you have no reason to bitch.

Any decision **you **make with **your **money is in fact, **your **fault. (Maybe ‘fault’ is too harsh a word)

Mind you one of my visions for the game industry is that every game ever will be preceded by a demo (if not a beta), so I understand and love the very concept of demos. But whether a company does it or not - the power is yours alone what you do with your money. No matter how they “play it out”.

/this whole dumbass argument

if the original was entertaining enough for you OR you thought it was too expensive dont by the updated version period

not at all

How about Super MvC2 instead please?

I’m hoping for Uncanny or Spectacular rather than Super.
