I might come to this one. I’ve always been kind of intimidated about going to a tournament, but I love SF and want to be more apart of this community instead of just playing random online players. So anyways will there be any consoles set up for casuals? I could bring mine if necessary. I have a stick but if I were to participate I’ll be on a pad since I’m still far better on one. But I’d like to bring the stick and maybe get some good tips and advice from you guys. And thanks for keeping the NC tourney scene alive.

I’ll be there for sure. I’ll bring my xbox + HDR (plus 2 dedicated sticks and a fightpad) and a tv that will actually work this time! Even if we don’t do anything but casuals on it, should be worth bringing. Everyone will probably be too hype for SSF4 to play HDR anyway :smiley:

When’s the earliest I could show up to try and get lots of casuals in?

Teams will be whoever you choose - not random. It’s new, and while not completely different, some characters have changed, so it’s too early to tell anchors imo.

Whatsup man. Getting out to the tournaments is the next step. Don’t be intimated; everyone’s generally friendly and helpful. Ask me whatever you like and I’ll answer to the best of my ability. Playing on a pad is fine.

Good shit Trykt. I’m there by 11:30 and usually have all of the tables and TVs setup by 12. So then until whenever the tournaments start (and as you know, during sometimes).
