put me down for a ps3, ssfiv and t6

No problem with that, i’ve been to luckys like twice and commonly go to the Durham Northgate Mall tournaments hosted by Saisyu and everyone in the NC area i’ve met is generally positive, friendly and also willing to help. I would say the strong majority of players in the scene over here is pretty chill and just looking to improve skill, make some money if possible and have fun. I can kinda hear you out on the whole being better on pad since there are some games that i’m overall better playing pad though i’m not sure if you know but maybe if your current stick isn’t working you might wanna switch the restrictor plate on it as some people are better with an octagon restrictor vs square.

Also definitely coming to this, trying to convince a friend that came with me last time to do SSF4 2’s team, I’ll probably do SSF4, BB CT and Tekken 6.

Oh yea question, that 2v2 SSF4 teams is it 10 dollars per team or 10 dollars per player on the team.

Make it .

MBAA finally moving out of poverty status…

WE GOIN’ IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!

You can get me down for MBAA+ PS2 and I promise I won’t be practice hokuto no broken/Archetype Earth loops this time :stuck_out_tongue:

+1 for $10 MBAA.

I’m in for 3S and Super

Good shit Lobo.

Thanks as always, Brandon.

Good stuff. Teams will be $10 total for the team, so $5 a player.

Thanks - that means we’ll have at least 3 MBAA setups if needed.

I’d really like to hear something regarding the MB entry from you guys that don’t always enter, or haven’t yet. How much do you love this gameeeee???!?!?? Right now I’m leaning toward $10 - the community cares enough and most everyone playing REALLY wants that #1 spot.

dead to me…

Are you the internet? Or is the internet, PVP?

Thank you to everyone that have a facebook and are responding! Lucky sent me a message to have this posted up on the official Lucky’s Card Shop facebook page in the future.

Keep ‘em comin’! HYPE!!!

Yo, where the fuck is Q when you need him?!

10 dollar Melty is awesome. I’m there.

dead to Pat…

I guess I’ll give it until the end of this week and make the final decision on Melty. For now, it’s looking like it’s going to be $10 until I get some real strong opinions leaning the other way.

Pat Van Pelty Blood

Yea the facebook group you set up is definitely convenient as I have quite a few friends that are non-members of this site that I sent invites too since obviously they have a fb but not a shoryuken account that I will be bringing to the tournament. So far I have two definite people coming along with me and one is still unsure but either way I totally can’t wait.

The facebook idea seems like it’s working out good. Thanks Will. I may put this up on Craiglist too.

Here are the Tonamento results from January, February, and March if anyone is interested. I’ve added these to the first post as well.

Lucky’s New Year Tournament
Tournaments: 7
Unique Entrants: 53
Total Pots: $785.00

Lucky’s February Tournament
Tournaments: 9
Unique Entrants: 63
Total Pots: $930.00

Lucky’s March Tournament
Tournaments: 8
Unique Entrants: 53
Total Pots: $695.00

I agree with the melty blood fee being bumped up to 10 bucks but I probably won’t enter for that much. I am however still down for tekken.

Anyone mind explaining Waseda style? That’s when like say I play and I win and my partner plays and loses then that means I would go against the winner of the other team?

Basically. Say A and B are the first team and B and C are the other team.

A fights C, C wins.
B fights D, B wins.
B and C fight, B wins, so the A/B team wins. If A and B had won the first two fights, then it would have been over right there.

I’m also for Melty being $10.

aww man i wanna go so bad but no ps3 stick :frowning:
