low tiers + tron rapes and its probably the only reason why low tiers can beat top tiers is because of her. Its very hard to win against top tier teams w\o tron. I’m not saying its impossible, just that much harder than it already is. So if you want to form a decent team and not put in tremendous amounts of time into your team dynamics, point character\AA with dhc options ron is a good formula.
MM\AA ron - the problem with this team is that you will find very little help for safe dhc’s in on block. Other than that, it works. Morrigan can fit that team very clean but no safe dhc in but you can always alpha counter in. There are dhc in on hit that combo clean. Actually, I think you can do megaman’s qcf+pp super, wait for block stun and all those little things outside of the beam to come out then srk+pp. That could possibly leave you safe but not positive.
MM\xxx\ken is a little more diverse. You already have an AA so the question becomes, what to do with all the bar MM built up. You’ll need a safe dhc in of course as well as a character that can dump bar. I would probably go with marrow or ruby heart. Both characters can take advantage of the bar, safe dhc’s in and contribute to mega mans trap with their assists. Put marrow on the boomerang assist ruby on her AA.
captain america\sonson projectile\ken AA is pretty damn sneaky. If you move backwards those damn monkeys create a wider angle so the only way to deal with them is to get up and over them where captain has some advantages. Dope squad.
when I was somewhat new to the game Gabe did this block string with anakaris and sonson’s monkey assist. basically utilizing Ana’s great chains and range of attacks and then calling monkeys appropriately I couldn’t get out or call assists but then again, I was just starting out.
I’m sure someone can work on it to but it’s probably too impractical @ high-level. but eh, something to think about.
too bad monkeys are stopped by projectiles and stuff. they don’t even cancel-out.
I don’t know much about the monkey projectile properties so thats news to me. Even though they get beat like that, there’s 3 of them with an unorthodox marvel angles. Its good for something imo. @ high level play, probably not but for a low tier tourney, I can see how it would be one of the better projectile assists.
After watching and messing around with chun for a few days, its apparent she’s easily top 15 material. Her AA is off the chain, command overhead, d.rh allows for assits calls while she can still get mobile, infinites, dumb resets, builds bar, d.rh is also an angle that many characters can’t deal with so by default, its god like. On hit, she has easy multiple relayer strings back into mixup. I could keep going about chun because she’s that damn good.
Strider does loose alot of steam without Doom, but the team is most effective when Strider is on point. I’d pretty much say that makes strider the workhorse and not because of an assist he has.
Also, a match is never “in the bag”. It isn’t over until somebody wins. So even if strider loses doom, Doom didn’t garuntee him the win anyway, so keep fighting.
strider doesn’t need doom really. The point of the striders trap is to make some type of offense threatening. Since doom is commonly on the squad, your offense threat is chip in his case. However, you can create 50\50 rebombs ***ideally ***so every trap rep yields a 50\50 for 40% life into a 50\50 activation pattern that could end up killing someone. 1 touch, 1 reset is 2 hit kill which is what mag and storm can do and strider has INSANE rejump crossups that are better than magneto’s in a sense. There faster, its safe and can lead into a 50\50 during orbs which is safe too. The problem is that these 50\50 rebombs are very hard to create and aren’t fully functional yet but this is what probably what max strider would look like. He could do these @ will and have them also be anti guard cancel chains.
Any assist that can create the 50\50 rebomb is going to wax ass and i’m almost convinced that you don’t need doom to do it.
I’ve beaten quite a few players with strider\sent\capcom clean so its not like strider totally needs doom. Yea it makes it easier w\doom, there’s insane team chemistry and the ability to manipulate guard cancel from multiple places from multiple attacks adds alot of depth to the team but I think strider is better off with 50\50 potential damage rather than guaranteed chip. It takes too long for strider to chip someone to death but 2 rebomb 50\50’s is 80% life @ least and we’re talking about a 2 frame low and 3-4 frame overhead for 40% per 50\50. The bar becomes more economical and is applied better imo.

Evidently the best strategy with Roll is to combo into Hyper Roll and then DHC to Gamma Crush…
What are the video properties? Source video type/format? Length? Has to be under 10m… If you’re giving them AVI, they might not be able to parse it. They’ll definitely be able to handle WMV. =\

tri LK is like ~3 frames with air dash factored in, qcbHK hits at frame 4. If Dan anticipates the jump in does he trade? The TK qcb K move goes backwards so he should get out of the LK’s best range… No idea about priority on it though. Someone wanna check it out? I’m not around any comp.
