Low tier ratios?

personally i dont think dhalsim should be ban, you shouldnt ban a character if he decides to run away the whole match. running away is ALOT harder than it sounds. the other person could pick all AA and dhalsim would get owned.

i still think trons assist should be banned. does way too much damage on its own.

that bitch chills @ the top of the screen forever. A place where very few low tiers can go. Whats the point of letting dhalsim get a life lead and then runs away for 50 seconds @ the top of the screen? he’s the only character in the game that can do that wack shit. Its a low tier tourney and if you seen magnetro’s dhalsim DVD, that bitch is not low tier. He’s hard as fuck to play but damn, that bitch is in the top 10 easy.

regarding trons assists, yea it does hella life. Like beatsofdevil said, learn to block. This is marvel, not girl scout school. Also, tron can be beaten by AA’s pretty easily. She’s not invincibile by any means so if someone gets a tron pin on you, chances are that you fell into a mixup pattern just like mag\storm would do. A mixup is still a mixup.

Sonson Anti Air is pretty good as well. Not only as an assist, but as a move too, which goes right into her QCF + PP, which DHC’s great into Hyper Megaman timed right… then maybe ken’s Shinryuken? I’ll have to test that out.

yes, its good but not for that specific team. You already have an AA in ken so why have 2? megaman needs horizontal space control and those mokeys do a fucking great job of doing that. I came up with a game plan in 2 seconds because of team chemistry.

You could do a buster+son son mokneys, rockball, kick that shit, jump buster+ sonson again. That shit would get nasty quick. You would have to jump upfwd to get around them and in that range, ken AA is invincible.

You don’t have to pick the characters best assist every time to an extent. Its about team chemistry and some characters have more than 1 usable assist.

I wouldn’t bother, unless it will kill someone, or it sets up something really good it’s pointless and usually a waste of meter. DHC to bring next character in safely and start working with them, in your case, megaman. it doesn’t seem like it would connect correctly anyway

keep in mind, the second sonson’s stick hits coming down, you can dhc and the stick will still be hitting them/completing. so you could probably connect a beat plane, maybe bring to corner, shinryuken, which then could set up otg juggles to throw+assist>>combo to shinryuken all over again/overhead to super shit (overhead plus mega buster assist>super?)

On sim:

Sim is EASILY top ten. It’s first thought to say that a good AA could nail him down, but it’s not that simple.

IIRC the telelport is invincible, so the best time you have to hit him is when he’s dashing to reset the teleport. That’s pretty damn sick.

correction: running away is a lot harder when running from god tier and tops. anything lower and the BUMS=ggpo for them…you do know how well dhalsim can run away right? even for some tops it’s evil to face.

tron assist I think should be allowed, granted with banning all those other characters. learn to block…she can be beat out as long as you call out your shit correctly…don’t mash on assist dumbly, and she is generally a very upclose and personal assist…generally

nah i use dhalsim before and ran away. ok i wanna see dhalsim win a fight vs cammy/cap-AA/X, do you really think hell stay up there and not get eaten my cap, it doesnt matter how good of your run away is, hes gonna get stuff.

i dont think there is an official way to do low tier shit yet. but the simplest way in my opinion is to just ban the top four. and instead of banning assist characters just ban the assist. no projectile tron. no AAA capcom, psylock, or cyclops ect…

dhalsim is going to get real good if people keep playing marvel but not enough to shake the big four

I agree! Though in addition to banning the 4 gods, the top-tiers like blackheart, Doom, iron man, and cyclops also would NEED to be taken off as well.

ban top 4, im, wm, cyke, spiral, strider cannot have doom/Beta, BH cannot team with Doom/Beta, can pick tron but not her assist

from that as a standard, ratio the remaining characters.

Blackheart needs to be taken off altogether. He is a beast on his own, and can also work great with almost any assist that provides decent distraction or push-back.

A player at my local arcade often tears it up pretty bad with BH backed by spider-man’s webball assist.
