Lore/Storywise who are the strongest and weakest characters?

I don’t think if they can harness ki or not means much. Dan can and he’s still hopeless and Sakura could throw a Hadoken after seeing it once. Not to mention Guy is a ninja and Cody has supernatural strength. (breaking through a brick wall with relative ease)

Moving on from hyping up Claw, I do feel Juri is the strongest female in the cast besides Ingrid. Feng Shu gives here enough to hop over Chun and Rose. Zangeif might be stronger than all the World Warriors including Super besides Ryu Ken and maybe Guile. He wrestles Grizzlies in harsh conditions. He could tank most physical moves in SF. Ibuki may beat some young SF3 characters but she’s not touching anybody else. She’s the best they have too. I still don’t think Vega is competing with anybody on Ken’s level or above. Hasn’t beat anybody noteworthy in the cast and I don’t care if he let them win or not. Only thing I know on Vega is Bison chose Sagat as his right hand and Vega was pissed.

Juri is being majorly slept on. Bitch be crazy. I’d say she’s about equal with Rose, or possibly higher.

In terms of strength display, i wish they would stop leaving Juri vs Bison on a cliffhanger. At the end of her arcade mode where she kills Seth, she encounters Bison afterwards and it just ends there with a pending fight being implied. SFxTK(Despite being non canon in every way) her and Bison both get to the pandora bullshit and get god mode or something, go at each other, black screen. Capcom why you no finish fights? Really want to see how that shit plays out. Karin will probably be playable before they have an answer for that rivalry though.

Guy and Cody for example, they may be able to defeat a powerful character one time for dramatic effect, but they come from a different game series where the power level is drastically lower. They’re just normal dudes who are good at martial arts. You can’t really put them on the same page as someone who can harness ki, or psycho power, or whatever the fuck.

Guy can harness Ki, it is shown in Final Fight 3:

Also, remember, they aren’t just fighting “dudes” they are fighting basically what amounts to a militia. This gang has taken control of an entire major city, has guns, knife, swords, grenades, molotovs, and for some reason… semi auto crossbows lol.

I know I mentioned it before, but it amuses me to no end that Cody and Guy have the only truly good ending in SFxT. Even Ryu and Ken don’t get a good ending (Ryu appears to be sucked into the pandora box and Ken is left behind.)

"The light from Pandora spread out from the Antarctic and had engulfed the entire globe. The light was seen by people across the entire world. It traversed the night sky before vanishing in a violent torrent. But instead of panic, many people simply viewed it as a natural and beautiful phenomenon that lasted but a single night.

Unfortunately, as Chun-Li and Cammy had feared, there were people who were affected by the power of Pandora. As they began to appear, Chun-Li took action. Calling up the help of skilled fighters from all over the world, she begins a new mission - to help out those who have been charmed by Pandora.

The light from Pandora spread out all over the world. Unfortunately Cammy’s fears became true. People who had been influenced by Pandora’s power began to appear around the world.

"After observing the destruction of Pandora, Guy left the Antarctic. The mysterious box that had once charmed those who sought strength and power, by marking them with a strange pattern across their skin, had simply vanished completely without a trace. By morning, everyone had returned to normal and it was as if nothing had ever happened at all.

Guy knew that this peace would be fleeting at best. For one day, something else would rise up to try and plunge the world into chaos. And when that time comes, Bushinryu would stand up to it. But for now, Guy takes a small break for recuperation and meditation.

Chun Li and Cammy got the best ending. Because of Cammy being suspicious, the box caused good and bad things, but our girls are already fixing the latter, so it’s a good ending.

Cody and Guy got the box to do nothing, except Cody feels like being a hero again, which he should be in the first place, like Guy, Chun and Cammy.
