I think it’s funny that we still haven’t seen what liberating both fully charged hands does. If anyone is going to Food Fight this weekend, I would love for them to try it out and let me know.

Nothing has thus far suggested he can’t do more than 3 charges total to my knowledge. If you have a source that says so, I would love to see it so I can end the mystery for myself.
That’s all I’ve ever seen, but people also generally don’t charge his hands, so it’s not like we’ve seen someone test it out fully.
That’s my assumption at least. If there’s nothing beyond a 2/1 or a 1/2 combo, then I’ll be using three destructor charges, always.

Liberation- charges, liberates them otherwise a nice push off radial move(his dark sphere around him move)
Purification- You know, giant pillar of darkness

Can Dormammu only teleport into the air or is he able to teleport anywhere he wants to on the screen? Also if he uses portal and the move connects, can he teleport while portal is in effect and maybe land in a free hit? Are there any videos of him using the towards+hard to wall bounce and combo off it?
I have only ever seen Dormammu teleport to one spot, and it is always about a third of a screen behind his opponent. I don’t think you can control the appearance spot, it’s just meant to be a “I need to get out of here” move.
Some are saying you can’t cancel Suffer into a special, but until I see it I’ll remain agnostic. I’ve had the same thought. If he can’t cancel it, you might need to use an assist to make it happen. Something like Suffer -> Trigger Happy -> Combo might be possible.
Not to my knowledge. It’s hard enough just finding a video where someone doesn’t try to rushdown with him.

I hope they tweak him in the final build. Just a little bit so he won’t be too powerful. I’m also trying to find out what moves helps Dorm push an opponent away from him. I know that there is towards+hard, that Liberation move (when it’s not charged), teleport and his 8-way air dash.
Does that fire move he plants on the ground come out quickly? For example: Dorm is blocking in close combat. Will he be fast enough to use Suffer or that fire move in time, before the opponent starts attacking again?
And does anyone know how long Dorm is stunned for, if someone blocks the Liberation (Force field push away move) when it is not charged? I’ve only seen it in the Seth walkthrough so I have no idea how effective that attack is.
Who says he’s too powerfull? He looks decent now but he’s going to get seriously worse as people get rushdown perfected. If anything he will be kinda bad.
I don’t think Dormammu is too powerful from what I played. When I got rushed by say, wolverine, there wasn’t much I could do except call in an AAA to interrupt pressure or pushblock him away.
Also, don’t rely on his 8-way airdash, it’s way too slow. Dormammu is slow in general so I think his best bet will be to simply block.

From my personal experience, he’s best of blocking/pushblocking, Dormammu is good at zoning but once a character gets in there isn’t much he can do besides that (well at least from what we’re aware of so far)
