Standard non-dwu unblockable against ryu seems to still work, haven’t tested against any other characters yet. Neckbreaker -> walk forward 6~ frames -> j.lk

Did anyone find a way to combo into Red Focus? I’ve tried a lot of things including cr.hp xx SJC xx Red Focus but nothing seems to work.

EDIT: Found it, she can combo intro Red Focus after fs.hp~hp. Not that useful for what I wanted but it’s something.

Oh cool! Backhand punch RFC works in the real game!
Here’s a video I made when I played with the PC mod showing some examples on how backhand punch can be used. The mod didn’t include the walk speed buff. Hopefully her new back walk speed is fast enough so that you can punish ALL DPs with backhand punch.

Standing and crouching Blanka can be tsumuji-looped with cr.lp now. I suppose that was kinda expected though seeing how it worked after mk tsumuji in ae2012.
It works on standing Rose too but no luck on the other previously unloopable characters, might need to test more though.

If you guys want to help me finish the chart, test on the new characters and tell me which loops work on said character. If you have any new loop that’s not included, post here too and I will update ASAP! Your effort will be appreciated. I wouldn’t ask you guys if I have a console T_T. I’m also going to maybe copy pasta the old loops chart with the new characters included. Hope Mingo don’t mind!

I played a ton of the Hugo matchup today. It’s rough if you don’t know what you’re doing. His hitbox is gigantic but that hurts us because the kunai vortex is not reliable at all. Jumping is not an option at all because of his fullscreen air grab. It’s entirely ground and footsies based. Bhp helps a lot because it’s a really easy confirm into neckbreaker or tsumiji. If he’s running Ultra 2, he can catch all of our backdashes, fmk, as well. Basically whenever you’re airborne. And you can’t hit him out of it. That matchup is weird but I think it’s 5-5. It’s EXTREMELY momentum and read based.

And the added walkspeed makes a huge difference in every matchup. Elena is tricky and her hitbox is also kinda weird.

Does the walkspeed difference feel noticeable? Is it fast moving both forward and backward?

Hey is vortex still a viable option against characters I’m currently number 7 ibuki too lol just wondering.

Yes, it is. You can easily react to DWU after Neckbreaker. After Tsumuji you have to be tricky (walk up, look for TECHNICAL and then jump and do Kunai or delay it a little).

Does j.MK have more Pushback now? After Jumpins I rarely was in range for a Tsumuji Loop.
And it seems like c.LP to s.MK is now harder to link. But maybe its just me…?

And I’m totally lost in the Hakan matchup. Lost to four Hakans today, won none. Anybody got little advice?

What were the problems with the Hakans? Or what exactly did not work out for you? Need a bit more information, before I can tell something.

Can someone confirm if TC6/TC8 xx sjc command dash st.HK > cr.HP juggles? I’m stuck at work for more 4,5 hours :frowning:

EDIT: also anybody notice the mistake in the official frame data app yet? Apparently Ibuki has a 1frame standing jab lol
