Most people prefer the JLF-TP-8Y going the sanwa route, and LS-32 via Seimitsu route.
what do you guys think of the Naki World 78006 Wireless Fighting Stick?
it’s for the purpose of having a nice arcade stick to practice on.
Could someone rate stiffest to loosest stick. I always assumed Sawna’s were the loosest while Happ (Comp,Super,P360s) were the stiffest, but according to someone I was talking to Happ’s aren’t any stiffer than Sawna’s. True?
I want something stiffer than the Sawna stick, and I was planning on getting a Happ (either P360 or Comp) until I heard they weren’t much stiffer. So…Sei?
its not too good, considering its wireless and that = lag.
i would recommend the sfac stick if you can find it
or the pelican real arcade. layout is a lil funny, but it was my first stick and first stick i modded :3
happ are considerably stiff, especially the comp stick with the hard spring
jap sticks are much looser and sensitive.
it just comes down to preference
hope this helps.
thanks. last q, is the sei noticably stiffer than the sawna? I mainly plan on playing alot of GG,SuperDBZ(which doesn’t matter since no one plays it), and Marvel (casually) and so I don’t want something really stiff but trying to trijump on a Sawna is a bitch cause it’s soo loose (I have a Hrap) and I always end up super jumping straight up.
Seimitsu sticks are sliiiiiightly stiffer than sanwas
imo
doesn’t the pelican real arcade fry your ps2? any other nice sticks whose prices aren’t that steep?
what that guy said. do any of you know nice sticks that aren’t really expensive?
If im correct it only frys your ports if you use it in an xbox alot and then use it on your ps2. Because xbox draws more power than a ps2. Im not to sure, i switched my pcb a week after i brought mine. I plan on fixin the layout buy cutting down the sides
I mostly play 2D fighters and have only played (to my knowledge at least) 8-way sticks. Are there any advantages to switching to the perfect 360?
Okay, I’m looking in here first… my question is…
What is the difference between the HRAP3 and HRAP3 SA? I know the SA isn’t due out for another couple months, but I’m not sure if I should wait, or just buy an HRAP3 now.
P.S. How tough it is to replace the ball top with a bat top on the HRAP3?
If you can find one the price of the tekken 5 combo with the stick dropped to 20$ at gamestops/eb games. Of course they’re hard as all fucking all to find but if you do Rush that shit down. I made the mistake of letting a friend buy it who doesn’t even play fighter but likes how it fucking looks in his room.
Ok so I wanna buy a cheap/good enough 360 stick with convex buttons for PS2, anyone know where I can buy it?
- HRAP3 uses Hori buttons, SA uses Sanwa
- Without swapping the entire stick: difficult - both use a Sanwa JLF - which is not compatible. You’d need a JLW. However nothing is impossible I suppose.
Best luck would be asking someone who makes sticks here, or MAS systems.
Really, only if your a Marvel player. I seem to do alot more better on the classic 8 way than 360, but that’s my preference. Only advantage with p360 is it’s precise.
What is the significance of an ANALOG button on a custom stick?
Adapters and Home PS button.
Um, I’m quite stupid when it comes to these things…could you explain more? Why would one person choose to get an analog button and another person would not?
If someone uses a PS1 digital controller then there is no analog button, thus they have no choice of whether or not to include one.
If someone uses a PS1 analog controller then have the choice, its just a matter of whether or not they want one. You might not want one if you are never gonig to use it because then its just taking up space on the top panel or side of the stick. If you dont use converters to play on the PS3, then the analog button really doesnt do much since fighting games dont normally require you to hit the analog button in order to allow the d-pad to work(you need the d-pad to work since thats where the stick is hooked up to)
what games would you use it for? how can you use it if the stick is hooked up to the d-pad anyway? sorry I’m slow
