Oh yeah, by the way Jon, Soul Calibur 4 was officially announced by Namco. Slated to come out for PS3 and Xbox360 in 2008. I don’t think any pics or vids have surfaced yet. Except for the new logo. It seems they learned nothing from the lack of SC3 players and are skipping the arcade release again.

The new Ivy looks awesome. But as usual with game teaser trailers, it doesn’t tell us much about the actual game at all. Them graphic artists sure are gettin’ better and better though I reckon for rizzle yo.

Yeah I hope “conclusion” doesn’t mean no more games. Soul Edge and/or Soul Calibur will probably finally be destroyed and then there will just be a new weapon or something.

If you are wondering how the tourney went… While a lot of people showed up from Manhatten/NYC and of course LI, it was a miserable failure because nobody brought a 360. They didn’t stick around for much of the time. Left for 2 hours, came back, saw there was still no 360 and then went Mini-Golfing for like an hour, and then finally decided to settle for some casuals in DOA:Ultimate which me and a new LIer (who’s name I can’t remember) had been playing really really good matches in all day.
All in all… besides that one guy I was playing all day who looks to come back July 1st, that’s about 10 people (2 of which were Castle Golf Long Island Fight Club’s first female players) who most likely won’t be around again.
Sorry things were such a disappointment, Alexstrife.
Much thanks to Christian yesterday for helping me with my TVs and sticking around despite that hardly anyone showed up for non-DOA. Also thanks to Richie for stopping by even if only for a couple of matches.

Nevermind. Crisis slightly adverted. I am now staying at Lance’s (manager of Castle Golf) house. So everything will still be the same as planned on July 1st. But thanks to Joe and IcyCool for offering to cover for me anyway.
I don’t want to impose on Lance and his family for long, so if anyone has anywhere I can stay, please let me know. Even if I have to bounce between a couple of different places, it’s cool. I plan on staying in Long Island only till August 2nd, when I will leave for good on my own terms. (I’ll have another big tourney at the end of July before I go)
I’ll be at Castle Golf pretty often now, so you can pop in at anytime and you’ll probably see me.
By the way, I could really use a minor favor. The internet is really bad. I can’t even get on MySpace at all, and whatever sites do load take forever. If someone can stop by Castle Golf any day sometime after 6 to let me use the internet at their house, I’d really appreciate. I’d also gladly stick around to play some games in whatever. I could actually use that too because I’ve been getting really rusty.
