Very cool. :bgrin: I’d totally buy your modded version for like $200+ if I had the money. :wgrin:
You should bring it and another stick or 2 this Sunday.
Sorry I missed your call, Kenny. I was walking around. But all I did really was turn in an application to GameStop. Oh well, see ya Sunday unless you were gonna play some stuff Friday or Saturday.
This Sunday is 3s and many other 2D fighters like GGXXS, Melty Blood, and Hokuto No Ken.
If you want to play 3s on another day besides Sunday, go to the arcade (FYE near the food court) in South Shore Mall. Good players occasionally lurk around. Friday and Saturday nights seem to be your best shot.South Shore Mall

I’m going to try to make this tournament. I have a custom Tekken 5 joystick with Sanwa Buttons and Seimitsu joystick installed with custom paint job. The paint is blue/red color shifting paint and has a plexi cover for the top.
$125 for it if you pick it up there, if anyone’s interested. I really need some $$ to pay for Evo East travels. =\
Man, when I get some money to throw around I need to try and take Joe down in the Guilty Gear tournies. Him and CJay are a real good fight.
Though that might have to wait depending on the status of RC macro buttons for tourny play. Though I just fixed my stick (by gutting the one Joe left at my place like 6 months ago) so I should be good to make the switch for AC.
Oh yeah. Well, I’m not sure how many people here were planning on going anyway.
I had hoped to get the money to buy a PS3, practice VF5, and then go to Evo. I barely have just enough for the hotel. Wouldn’t even be able to enter in stuff.
I don’t know what you mean. But whatever is allowed at Evo is allowed in my tourneys.
Actually… I thought of interesting idea regarding this.
It’s a shame to see so many great players not in the tourney just cause lack of money. So, here’s an idea…
I will let people join in tourneys simply for paying the price of casuals* but you can not win $$$ from the tourneys. Any money you win would go to Castle Golf.
*$5. Bringing equipment or paying the normal price to enter in any other tournament nullifies this fee, of course.
So basically, after paying for either a tourney or casuals, you can enter other tourneys for free. But you can not win money.
I was thinking something like that. Only issue is you’d probably get players going overboard with some games and not adding to the pot which might discourage others from putting money in.
Yes, I am worried about that. I think I’ll keep this practice on the down-low. Like exclusive to the people I know from forums. I’m not gonna advertise it to people at the actual event. Except when it’s clear no one else is gonna pay to join and I want to try to get the brackets even.
