I have no problem running Smash as long as a good amount of people show up. I know there’s a lot of people who play at Stony Brook but I have no way to give the word to them. If you can do that, I’d sure appreciate it. I can’t rely on the Zaibatsu peeps who are regularly at SBU because they hate the Smash Bros players.

But if Spero isn’t going to run tourneys, then there’s no reason someone else can’t.

I would actually like it if Spero would come to Castle Golf to run the tourneys himself, but it does not seem he will do that either.

Anyways…

Showtime in a couple of hours! I’ll be bringing 2 TVs, but remember that we could always use more, so please bring TVs!

I’ll be arriving sometime between 3 and 4. You’ll probably find me playing CvS2 or DDR when you come in.

Over 15 people showed up for the 4 tournaments that were run. Seemed like more, didn’t it?

Joe won them all (except MvC2 which he wasn’t in), right? :rofl:

Sorry for the late start, slow progress, and occasional confusion. (all those byes… :looney: ) Also sorry for constantly forgetting people’s names and faces. I’ll do much better next time.

It’s official that I have the room again next Sunday same time for more tourneys.

Kevin, tell Richie that I’d definitely like to run a Dead Or Alive 4 tourney if I can get enough interest. All I know for sure is him, me, Carlos, and maybe Joe. Also tell him that I will be running Virtua Fighter 5 as well.

Right, so the line-up for next Sunday will hopefully be this:

Virtua Fighter 5
Tekken: Dark Resurrection
Dead Or Alive 4
Soul Calibur 2 and/or 3
Possibly Smash Bros (I’d rather save room and TVs for the other games)

Well just be in need of more TVs.

Adam C, thanks so much for supporting the scene. Sorry you didn’t get to play in the games you wanted. Hopefully more people will turn up next time. We didn’t need your TV this time, but we could sure use it next time if you don’t mind.

By the way, what Guilty Gear game was that? I though it was GGXXS, but apparently it wasn’t. I just want to make sure I write the correct title next time.

Melty Blood is pretty cool. Definitely gotta get into that sometime.

Umm sometimes people just accidently say or confuse Accent Core with Act Cadenza I think. Because someone kept calling Melty Blood “Accent Core”.

nope i couldn’t make it, i got ragged to the city by my parents like the last minute, and by the time i got back (around 5 pm) i was dead tired with a pounding headache, so i just went straight to sleep. Really hoping I can make it to the next one. Ill try to bring my ps2 and 360 if you need it.

Ah. I assume your avatar is Sion. I love too many anime and game chicks to revolve around one. :lol: Polygamy is me! Off the top of my head… Kasumi, Sarah, Cassandra, Lili, Mai, Mina, Cammy, Excel, The Major (GITS), Hitomi, Lei-Fang, Lanaesa (my SC3 char), Yuri, Ruby Heart, Helena, Sophitia, Karin, the cast of Sexy Beach 3 (my avatar is my modded version of Maria), Odahime, and on and on and on… :looney:

Anyways… Yep, hopefully enough people will enter in DOA4 and at least one person will bring the 360. I’m gonna try starting things an hour earlier than last time. So come after 3 and I’ll start the tourneys between 4 and 5.
