No one has said anything, but I’m not trying to get SC into the April 22nd event anyway. SC would be for the next Sunday.
I’m definitely always up for SC2 and SC3 casuals myself. I’ll try to promote a tourney soon. I’ve just been so focused on the tourney for this Sunday.
Well for this Sunday, if you wanna bring a PS2 and SC2 (I’ll already have SC3 with me), I’ll definitely play some casuals with you if there’s time and a free TV available.

If no one in this thread can give you ride, you can get one of the Zaibatsu peeps to do it. Get Russ, Carlos, or John so that would be at least one more person for VF.

Anyways, I finally got the time info from Lance. The party on Sunday is scheduled to end at 3. But because of clean-up, it’s not recommended we start till 4 at the earliest.
So like I said before: Come in after 4pm and then we’ll start the tourneys sometime between 5 and 6.
So, it’s all official now. Let’s do this!

hey everyone…sorry for the spam but I wanna get some big numbers for this…this is an event ran by dxp and myself…heres the cut and paste and I hope to see some of you there.
The last web2zone event that we threw was a SMASHING success. Over 70 players showed up for several tournaments and casuals. We had 3 tournaments with over 25 entries each! YOU THE PLAYERS came out and showed that we can really make shit happen.
WELL I’m pleased to announce some extremely good news: The owners of web2zone were SO impressed, we are DRASTICALLY UPGRADING for this event!
The Date: Saturday April 28th
The Time: 12 Noon-Midnight
The Price: $10 cover

-MORE TVs

-MORE space (we get to use BOTH upstairs and downstairs)

-LESS lag (tournaments will NOT be held on laggy LCD tvs but on brand new tube TVs purchased for this event)
-A megaphone so we can actually call players for their turns and they’ll hear us

I am thinking of turning the downstairs into the “casuals lounge” and using the upstairs into the tournament area, but that will be determined at a later date.
Parking is next door and is $25 flat rate for all day long. There is also LOTS of good food in the area.
SPECIAL NOTE: if you are sick PLEASE PLEASE stay home. Last time a lot of people caught a nasty bug from someone who was sick and still came. This should be avoided this time since we will not all be crunched up downstairs, but still, please use your heads and take care of yourselves.
Also anyone who farts in the tournament area will be subject to immediate DQ/bannage from Web2zone. That shit was RANK last time!
I hope to see just as many people, if not MORE, come out for this event! This will be perfect practice for Evo East which is only 1 month after this event.

Well ok. Both of you plan ahead for May 6th, as that would be the next 3s tourney if things go as I plan.

I don’t know that anyone else is bringing a PS3 because no one else seems to be taking the VF5/DR tourneys seriously. I don’t blame [TekkenZaibatsu] people for ignoring me. Whatever, I get it. But now it’s just starting to piss me off because I’m really working my ass off to this shit organized and going and then I get nothing but absolute apathy.
If I can’t get a PS3, I’ll just try to push the Soul Calibur tourneys. Possibly Dead Or Alive 3 or Ultimate unless I can get a 360 and DOA4. And I may even be tempted to run Smash Bros despite how much I really don’t like that game.
Anyways, someone else has to bring a PS2 and 3s tomorrow!
i dont kno if u throw smash in it next week it would be nice i got firends that play that and can get a ride with them edit should see if the ppl at smashboard would like the idead aswell
