wtf are you talking about? hipster? I don’t even know what a hipster, all I know is that they use iPhones. Companies (or bands/artists/etc.) trying to make money is exactly what selling out is. Good companies don’t say to themselves…LET’S MAKE MONEY!!! Good companies put their heart and soul into their product and service, and the end result is money cause they did an awesome job. Street Fighter up to SF4 was great cause you could feel the love they put into their games, even if they did have flaws (ie. CVS2 had many, but it still ended up being a damn good game). SF4 was the beginning of soulless SF where instead of love, you could feel their lame attempts at making money by catering to the stupid masses.

This is just the beginning Drew…what that LameSpot scrub is saying is actually gonna happen cause Capcom is looking to please the scrubs of the world, cause SF is “too hard” and “too boring” and “too repetitive”. Look at how they added that Heroes & Heralds to UMVC3 and how they added Gems to SFXT (auto block, auto tech, ugh). And don’t forget “one button” combos in SFXT, dumbed down super motions, “charge” ex’s/supers, etc. Also, 2v2 to make it a party game like Smash Brothers.
Bit by bit everything is going down hill…
EVO should bring back the classics…I don’t see how it would hurt, just let the community run a side event consisting of the Golden Era games:
CVS2/3S/MVC2/A3/ST
They should keep these games alive as a sign of respect. That’s the least they could do, especially considering that these “old” games are far superior to the new ones!
Playing SFxT makes me want to play Final Fight, it’s now in the SNES. Probably one more sit down with sfxt and ill be playing it next lol

Man I love going to Gamespot Versus dude, I go almost every Saturday or Sunday. Dude I got beat down so hard against the Japanese players in that arcade after they did the ranbats, the level of skill is stupid unreal.
