I may actually buy this game…why?
-its 2D (huge…I love this)
-it’s got only 8 characters (I love this…going back in time when FG’s only had a few characters is a tremendous move. Fewer characters allows everyone to learn all the match ups, thus making the game much more competitive, and it just provides a sense og cohesiveness that games with 56 characters lack)
-made by a community member (I wanna support Mike Z for making a real FG)
-I’m guessing it doesn’t have any BS ez mode mechanics…
And yes, I realize that KOF13 has some of these qualities as well, but honestly, after acknowledging that it’s prolly a very good game (especially in these shitty times), I realized that the game’s style (lots of jumping, not enough zoning/poking…then again, Skullgirls may end up like this as well, who knows?) doesn’t really suit me. Same with 3D FG’s, I know that they’re good and all (some are better than others…), but I’m too old and too lazy to play non-SF (or SF’ish) fighting games.
edit: who am I kidding, I will not play this game, I don’t even have the motivation to play SF games that I love…some1 bring back arcades plz.
