I fully endorse this option, when I get back, I`d like to start playing again on campus for both environment and bus access for people who want to come. Also timmies is near by. But when I get back as well I will be joining WEGA again maybe in hopes that they have gotten better. Any word on that Drew?
Also I think I might actually be excited to get SF x Tekken, they have Rolentos Alpha 2 theme in the game and the original Final Fight intro song that Ive had on my phone for like 2 years. Hopefully with DLC they bring out Sodom so I can create Team MAD GEAR with Sodom and Rolento. But for now it will have to be the Mighty Bison with Rolento.
Hopefully it is with AC, and more people willing to show up. Personally, I have no issue with paying but I think this late in the year (IF it is only a Sept to Apr type of thing) is a bit of a stretch.
Now is this as in meeting with us to figure out the details, or us show, setup/start playing and then talk with us?
If they have space, AC during summer months (should they be open) and a willingness to let us be there with free parking I am in. Plus if we can get some more people willing to play, that is always a positive.
This new place is infinitely superior to anything we’ve had before. Why are we talking like it’s some complex thing? Ben if you don’t like it, don’t come nobody’s asking you to. SF is about comp. Ppl who wanna play will meet regardless of heat or $15 or parking. Ppl who wanna be bureaucratic snakes can stay home and be family men.
I’d imagine it’s open in the summer. There’s no classrooms nearby and it’s literally around the corner from the Caf, a loud place anyway. If somehow it’s closed, Huron SAC should be open like it was last summer.
I’m a little confused as to why it’s $15, cause Alvin and I (and Drew I imagine) paid $5 on Sunday which is the standard price of all clubs. Maybe we’re creating a special side club and that has a fee?
This Thursday is for playing and officializing everything. Ryan, Ben and I should bring a setup to have as many as possible just in case we have spectators who want to try and can have an SF(xT) setup as well. Drew/Alvin/Me/Ryan/Ben/Mihai should be able to make it this week?
BTW, parking is not free on the main two/three parking areas. I’ve found the Residence Parking to be open and free even though they say you need a permit. Three years of parking there has never gotten me a warning slip which is all I’ve seen on others cars that park during the day.
It was 5 bucks cuz we weren’t club members and the 5 bucks covered all the tournies and just venue fee The members didnt have to pay the 5. If we become members its 15 tho unfortunately.
And Chris, WEGA is dead to real gamers. That’s all that needs to be said lol.
Ben they want us to come out on thursday and play, and probably afterwards talk with us.

Don’t play too often anymore. Dance has become a bigger hobby for me and more priority. I’m always down to ST though when I have time. Around April I should have A LOT more time than I’ve been having lately since dance crew will be done for the season. I’ll pm my cell.

Drew, I played some SFXT with Alvin tonight…I like the game. Very different from AE so the holy trinity is now AE/MVC3/SFXT. I didn’t try ne1 new, and tbh I don’t see myself trying any of the Tekken characters or even any of the non-OG SF characters. I’m too old and set in my ways now to change lol so I just used Ryu/Ken/Guile/Rog/Sagat/Bison. I’m gonna call it right now…Shotos are top tier.

So guys its Wednesday and I need some times to give the KGC so they know what to organize with. I was thinking of just telling em we’ll try and be there around 530. That way it gives me time to drive in, Ben to get home and pack/joe and alvin to finish classes/and Ryan and Mihai…w/e you guys do lol.
