Who did he play? Sometimes, you can see the red flags.
Task May Cry, Hulk Ryu Deadpool ,or Cap May Cry. I don’t remember which beat my random team.
How did you not see it coming? The only “sort of” scrub unfriendly character he played was Deadpool, who tends to be thrown on by casuals anyway. Task has some seriously derpy stuff, he runs Hulk and Ryu on the same team*, he plays Cap, and seems to run “[Scrub bait] May Cry” if he isn’t using Hulk or Ryu. RED FLAG!
*While Hulk, like any online-friendly character, is already a scrubby character most of the time, he is legit with proper teams. Ryu is not on any of them.

For each of these characters on a bad online player’s team, there is a 15-25% chance you are dealing with a scrub, IMO.
So you’re essentially Red Flagging 90% of the teams you’d see period…okay?

As I said, 15-25% per character. Obviously, someone could feasibly run something like Hulk/Task/Ammy as a legit team, but face it: If you see someone running all-black team trenchcoat, you aren’t exactly going to wonder what amazing level of skill you are running into. Also, this applies to the lower half of online play. Obviously, I’m not trying to red-flag any pro players or anything like that, but that seems to be the entire list of characters I could see as “scrub-friendly”.
I’ve seen some Hulk variety, but the Ryu part is WAYYYY too true.

LOL! Online Sentinels are garbage.
They just j.:s: for the ground bounce, jump all day, and do Vanilla day 1 stuff (e.g. cr. 
, :s:, :h: :s:, OTG, Super) They don’t use flight (ever) and they also don’t use Hard Drive.
I cringe every time I see this online. At least a flight extension can get you the full meter with an assist if they insist on day one stuff.
Heck, people be raging on me because I do an actual combo online (it’s hard sometimes -> LAG) and do around 950k for I bar.
Played someone with 1000 wins no losses and a 9th lord still Rofl. I teabagged and taunted after making him waste xfactor and watching him helplessly chase me down lol, he finally quit before I could finish the combo. He had the nerve to say he was better than me because he has never lost a game and I have lost many :(.
I wonder if he really believes he’s good at the game when he’s probably quit at least 2000 times lol

Then you’re either saying out loud the fulllll move or just looking up cause you know EXACTLY what he’s doing and as soon as you start your combo you get hit with the “mysterious rage lag” ?

I was fighting someone in ranked… managed to get in the first hit so I do a combo with Chun to bring him over to the corner and then reset him for the kill. I do a mixup on the incoming character and kill him. Then I managed to catch him anchor after some corner pressure and kill him.
Then I get a rage message saying that "All your good for is just fighting in the corner and not giving me a chance to do anything. Learn to play!"
I’m like… “Uh… isn’t that what I’m SUPPOSED to do? xD”
I love getting messages from people telling me to learn how to play when they are the ones who aren’t approaching the game properly. Just like when people rage about me running away with Storm and Chun to run out their X-factor.

Stay free, internet. Seriously, how can you rage at Chun? She’s one of the hardest characters to use in the game, doesn’t do retarded damage, has no truly derpy tools, has a painful execution barrier, and nothing to stop large amounts of derp. (H-Ko and Arthur have Gold Armors, PW has shield)

And actually, I’ll let you in on a secret! My Chun corner combo can TOD Thor if I DHC to Storm. So her damage isn’t all too bad actually, it’s just confirming it. Most of the stray hits she manages to land don’t transfer into huge damaging combos. But if you get the right setup you can TOD all day. Mainly, if she catches you on the ground and can go into a Kikoanken, then you should be dead. If she catches you in the air, she probably will have to do a reset. And her EX SBK does stop derp while being a little derpy but it’s highly dependent on who the opponent is. If they are someone with huge sword normals like Dante and Vergil, then it sucks. If it’s against someone like Wesker then it works pretty well.
You, sir, are a god among men. You have the execution to play Chun online, and can even win with her too. I wouldn’t really consider EX SBK an anti-derp tool, though, because she has to hold down for a little bit, which makes grounded Chun weak to overheads if you can see it coming.
Haha I think you are overestimating me. I’m nowhere near someone like Brian Kasugano’s level.
And that is a very true and good point. Hence why I hate Doom footdives, Vergil and Dante hammers, etc.

I play a really basic Sent as far as combos go so that I’ll give you… but when it comes to using his flight mode and using hard drive properly I would say Im pretty good at it. I never stay on the ground with Sent because he is so vulnerable to almost everything and can get caught with all sorts of bullshit. It also helps that Nemesis is on my team because If I have 3+ bars and I hit confirm with Sent then your ass is for sure dead with a THC.

Anyways today I played some matches vs some mexican kid that ran team trenchcoat and it took him 5 asswhoopings to figure out I was a “puto” who didnt know how to play the game because my Sentinel never touched the ground to fight it out vs his anchor wesker LOL his voice message was hilarious
Im mexican as well so I trolled him with a reply that said:
