for akali, I’ve been both on the giving and receiving end of oracles. Even fed akalis will get wasted if you have an oracles and just focus her down.
solo lane chogath is awesome, just tried himf ro the first time and it’s hilarious how good he is.

If you wanna destroy Akali just get to level 18 without feeding her, and match her up against a stun/disabler/tank. Taric and Sion give her huge problems. It’s not about killing Akali, but if you nullify her the kill will come.
mejas is fine in solo queue. As long as its on a hero that can benefit such as a morgana or anivia possibly a kass. If the hero has the ability to snowball stay alive and still be a team player the item can be godlike.
This new character is interesting. Probably will separate the good players from the bad players, especially the whole miss your shot on an opponent, and you will be seen. Curious, if when she is spotted, would she also reveal allies that happen to be next to her? That could easily screw up a possible 5 vs 5 fight.
Cass is probably the worst new character of all the new characters in the last 6 months. She is terrible in terms of damage output, not to mention probably the squishiest hero of all of the mages as well. Nidalee’s spear can take at least 2/3, sometimes even more of her health during mid game.
I actually decided that the tank I will be using is Sion (Since I should stop being a one trick pony with playing support characters Lux/Janna/Soraka/Nidalee). Been practicing with him on a couple of custom games, and he’s a lot of fun, especially his health farming ability. However, I have been looking at the guides, and they seem all over the place. Half of the guides suggest AP/Tank sion, while the other half is DPS/Tank Sion. And then some are just pure AP or pure DPS sion. Anyone know which is the better build?
Also buying runes, is going to be a pain, since I have no critical strike runes at all.:shake:
AP/Tank Sion is where it’s at.
Get those Magic Pen/Whatever/Whatever/HP quints and you’re set.
just had a horrible game as shen. our ez was new and almost got killed twice right off the bat, both times i taunted in to save him, but died in the process. After that I died like 6 more times because their sion/kass lane could tower dive me from full health, had no clue what to do there.
edit: also I hate it when i jump in a game and INSTANTLY 3 ranged solo laners are picked. Thanks guys, one of you is already screwed out of a solo lane AND you left two very specific positions opens, you better hope whoevers left likes to fix teams!
try having to mid against miss fortune as amumu. then you’ll learn the meaning of rage. i scared her out of lane twice, then my blue buff ran off and she TDed me and fucked my life up twice. niggas were acting like it was a good idea at the time too, just because i’m godlike at bandage -> tantrum harass doesn’t mean that when I can do shit other than that and last hit while getting shot all day.
oh, and pro tip here, srk players… don’t TD people just because I hit them with a bandage. they’ll peek their head out again eventually and i’ll hit that bandage too. not every stun HAS to be a kill opportunity. sometimes you just gotta scare people.
gross, laning amumu is rough in normal situation, can’t imagine taking mid where you’re guarenteed to fight someone who can out harass.

Strait up AP Sion is the best when I used him. I get no tank shit unless the entire other team is all AP or AD.
They need a higher penalty for leaving in the middle of a game like deducting 2000ip and lowering your level by 1-2. Shit is annoying when you’re leading by a huge margin against a horrible team but then 2 people on your team quit for no fucking reason. Also how is it that there are people with 28 leaves still allowed to play?
Dat Xin Zhao is too fun, shame Runes are so damn expensive at Tier 3.
They can’t just give huge penalties for leaves on a singular level since they COULD be unintentional(power going out, house is on fire, etc…), plus 24, percentage wise(which is what i believe all their systems look at) may not be that high.
I think a good amount of players would gladly lose a few summ levels and 3k IP if it meant leavers would be cut down to a fraction of what they currently are.
Majas is really good with Janna. Because it is really easy for her to get an assist in any battle (just a shield on one of your teammates= automatic assist). Also she really should not die, unless you aren’t playing her right (since she is like one of the characters that is least likely to get ganked in lol).
