Agreed, Yi is scrub city and is very often picked by other people. Kayle is a welcome addition on any team really, has fairly flexible builds too. AP Yi can be pretty scary; I think Yi is a beast, but you have to be really good to do so with him.
What are you’re guy’s thoughts about Fiddlesticks? He seems like a cool character and I was thinking of saving for him for my next champion.
Fiddle is actually a really good hero. If you can get good ults you can change team fights. He’s a A to lower A rank hero in my book. And his silence and fear are great too.
Unless he’s gotten some major nerfs I’m unaware of I think fiddle is a great champ to either lane as or Jungle with.
ahh I remember beta when his ult didn’t flash you and you could only play fiddle if you had flash. . . and nunu’s ult being able to flash. . . I miss that. Charge it up until right before and flash in for massive damage.

he’s pretty good, he can take golem at level 1 without smite, his ult is great if you have ghost and/or flash as summoner spells. for a 1350, he’s not too bad at all.

whats the error it says? The only thing I can think of is that they were doing maintenance last night up until about 10-11 this morning to get things ready for the new patch. During that time signing up and stuff messes up lol.
It used to be anytime the servers went down the forums wouldn’t work either.

which characters are usually ban in rank matches? i usually play Twisted Fate and i hope hes not one of the characters who are usually ban. cause i really don’t know how to play anyone else.

also did they change archangel’s staff and made it unstackable? i remember playing against a Karthus with like 800 ap and he was just a pain. but last week i had like 3 arch staff and a zhonya ring and my mana stopped growing and what not. am i doing something wrong?
Heimer, Shen, Soraka, Xin, Shaco, Taric. Those are the most commonly banned heroes, but I’m thinking that Vladimir might join them.

The affect of gaining mana is unique between archangel’s staves. So yeah you can’t stack it for the mana. If you get a archangel’s, you can get a tear of the goddess which will let you get mana from that, but when you upgrade it you won’t be able to anymore.
I believe the bonus of 25% mana (?) to ap isn’t unique so you can stack that. I had 755ap with ez and I didn’t stack archangel’s. You really don’t need to with proper items.
I had:
Lichbane
Zhonya
Archangel’s
Mejai’s (not full)
Sorc boots
Void staff
And that was without baron buff I believe too. You can hit 800 with baron and a elixer if brilliance I think and full mejai’s. I personally dont think stacking them is worth it myself

Yeah, i can see something about it changing soon, like he won’t be able to move during it or will be targetable or something
They need to tweak it, like say…when you’re in pool-form, that you have -50% movement speed, or something like “normal movement speed but you take 150% damage from AOE spells while in pool form”. Right now, pool being a combined zhonyas, damage, plus escape is really broken.
thanks negaduck for the info on the ap things. i’ll give it another go when LoL is back up. also where do you guys think about Teemo? i enjoy playing him and see people running away from group fights only to die from a shroom. it satisfies me in a way no other character can. also his blinding helps alot when it comes to fighting xin.
Vladimir sanguine pool is pretty much the only reason i want him. being able to pool dive turrents and group fights safely is too good.
I really feel like their current system of adding a new hero every 2 weeks is going to crumble soon. As a 4-5 year DotA player, I’m fine with them spacing out new heroes as long as they function properly. As of late, the heroes that they’ve been releasing have been getting launched prematurely. The 3 biggest examples of this in my opinion are Pantheon, Ezreal and Xin Zhao. Pantheon has seen a number of nerfs since his launch, Ezreal has seen quite a few nerfs to his attack range and ability effects (healing component removed) and Xin just got his dick put in the dirt something fierce with today’s patch. Riot should stretch their new hero launch out to a month to allow more time for testing new heroes.
A friend of mine works at Riot and claims that they keep 5 new heroes in the pot at all times and test them constantly, but it still doesn’t seem like these new heroes are ready. They are just too damn powerful out of the gate. Each one of their buttons does like 3 things, which makes characters like Nunu, Sivir, Sion, Yi, etc look like fossils. I know that their intentions are good, but it seems like their current process in a nutshell is:
- Release OP character
- Let players shell out tons of money to play OP character for 2 weeks
- Nerf OP character
- Repeat Step 1
I don’t play alot of teemo, but I feel that right now he’s a little weak. That’s just from overall observation.
Yeah a champ every two weeks does seem almost slightly overwhelming
Teemo’s hit and run/lure into shrooms style just doesn’t fly in LoL unless your entire team is doing it.
If you try to fit him into teams by changing his build to be like a ranged carry or AP burster, then you’re just going to be obsoleted by champs who were actually designed to be ranged carries or bursters.
