Yeah, console play is becoming increasingly popular now that arcades are dying. It’s more convenient too. Pad scrubs can use pads and arcade stick users can bring their custom sticks.
BTW I just found out a couple weeks ago that Koop lives just down the street from me. He’s a real cool guy and I wish I had known earlier. His CVS2 Cammy is serious business.
"What games does X3O have?
We have a wide variety of games. All of our Games have ratings to ensure that your children ( if under the age of 18 ) are not allowed to play certain games unless he or she has a parent sign our parent consent forms.

I’m moving back to MD in a couple weeks so I have to ask: I don’t suppose you guys have a Japanese-style Guilty Gear XX Slash cabinet, do you?
(I know you don’t, because it would be The Best Thing Ever, and The Best Thing Ever never happens.)
Sorry I’m not up to date on the “hip lingo” you kids use these days, but what is that even supposed to mean? 'Cause if you’re my dad, I think you owe me 18 years of back child support. I’m gonna use the money to buy a Slash cabinet, and then get my shots. :looney:
But to keep things on topic: Does anyone know if there’s a Japanese-style 3s cabinet anywhere in MD, at least?
I am returning to Davis, California tommorow. I miss my arcade cabinets. Sorry to say, but I think I would have placed 2nd if I was given my perfect360 sticks from the cabinet back and home. But everyone’s cabinet is different etc etc. Although I have played on pad before, it is usually to beat the hell out of my brother or random guests when everyone is plastered and the bastard in me decides to “play a random game” during a get together I beat everyone silly. BUt is that pad practice? I think not.
Anyway, I really enjoyed the X30 tournament that went on. I felt a little old at age 21 but that is common at my college. I hope you all have a good final round or whateveer stage of the tournament you will have after I leave.
If any of you are looking for comp and are in the davis/sf/sacramento area feel free to IM me.
Yeah…21’s not that old for playing SF any ways. Actually I would prefer to play against someone older in SF just because they’re more mature about the game. They probably have the expeirence to know what works and where their overall skill level is. Some of the kids that play SF in their spare time these days get all whiny when stuff doesn’t go there way. Improving their gameplay isn’t necessarily number 1 on their priorities either. Then again…Xbox Live has taught me that you can be a sore loser at any age.
