Like all her big damage outside the corner, it involves a tag combo. See the same rule aplies to any move that’s invincible. Shoryuken’s, counters, SA’s, CA’s. They get blocked…you’re going to get punished. Kasatushi is no different there. Oh and Kail did you read my Kasatshi info in the combo’s thread?

ggs FSE, going to be xcopying some of your tactics into my gameplan, but probably not the kasatushi stuff… effective when it works but as much as I like the move I don’t like tossing it out there so often. My reads ain’t that gdlk D:

Using Kasatushi effectively takes time, paitence and practice. It’s has won/got me some much reward. Yeah I’ve baited before but about 5/10 times the punishment isn’t super severe. </p><p>I love using Kasatushi. I just require momentum and then things usually fall where I want them. Just gotta put some effort into using things. I try and show my opponent zero respect in the sense they want to use something invincible againt me sinc eI have the tools to counter them. I can’t play uiber defenseive with Juri. She wasn’t built for that. Juri’s aggressive…just the way I like it. Rough and tough baby!</p>

Oddly enough I’ve also been finding more success with {Kasatushi} now, but I have to do it on a read.  Every once in a while I’ll even do the double counter gimmick just to see if the opposition is awake, but of course that’s insanely risky.  There is a level of restraint I have to put on myself, as whenever I go past that, I’ll get careless and get my ass beaten for it lol.<div><br></div><div>Also, I think I’m starting to figure out my “play style” more lately - fairly defensive, doing crazy damage in bursts, off of a read or two and then keeping the momentum on my side as long as I can.</div><div><br></div><div>…I hope that’s making sense lol.  Just kinda’ blaaaabing about it somewhere after doing a long Briefing Room training session with a friend.</div>

All I can say is…Bingo

Kasatsushi is actually the most cerebral move in Juri’s moveset.  Unlike her other moves like Shikusen, Senpusha, and Fuhajin, there are no switch cancels to save your ass if you screw up.<br><br>Is Juri really brain dead?  The only brain dead I could think of her is that all of her special moves consist of quarter circle motions. :D<br>

I don’t even know anymore.  Everyone seems to have their own level/definition of “braindead” and “derp” these days, and toss those words around a lot… so I’ve lost track.<div style=“font-style: normal;”><br></div><div>Personally I don’t think so.  She’s definitely <i>easier</i> <i>to use</i> than her SSF4 counter-part, no denying that.</div>

I love Kasatushi. It requires much thought for a single move. It’s got depth too. I love it…now if onyl I could cancel into dashes like you could from it’s 4 verison. Persoanlly I think every SSF4 is easier to use in SFxT simply because of the tag system, moves got increased JP, no AB moves, and you have to characters not just one.

Health shouldn’t be an issue. Juri was never brain dead…Just had powerful moves. And she still does. I still wish her damage never came into efffect.<br>

To be fair, I hate the implication of something being called “brain-dead”, seems like more of an insult to the people that play the character than the character itself.  Unless it’s something that is obviously broken.  I don’t really consider a character being relatively safe or simple being brain dead.<div><br></div><div>That’s a personal gripe though.  Either way, she’s definitely not nearly as easy now.<br><div><br></div><div>I could’ve sworn her pinwheel, dive kick etc. were all unsafe at launch, but made even more unsafe in the following patch.</div></div>

<br>my point is this character has below average health which counteracts the saying she’s “brain dead,” eg it is another flaw she has. Characters hit hard in this game, and that extra 100 means something. <br>

Right it feels insulting when I hear “brain-dead character” just because I say I play Alisa…  :[<br>

<p>I never worry about Juri’s 900 health. That is not an issue I have. Anyway I wish L senpusha was either -3 or -4 on block (vs crouching). Man, I would be laughing so hard then. Also Shikusen is always -3 on block (where you strike with it is another point) if you hit it at the lowest point (the feet) it becomes -3 on block. M Senpusha was -7 before it was patched. I want Fuhajin buffs and some normal move buffs. Also have Her Cros cancel either startup quicker or increase the I-frames. Funny thing is it’s one of the few Cross cancels that can’t be countered by counters (aside from Kasatushi) so that’s a plus. Also Kasatushi fixes. I get these I’m going psycho!</p>
