:hp: to :mp: hakkesho is a little tight, not sure on frame data there but its moderately hard to hit

How do you guys feel about using Dark and Stormy (RD>P) for tag-ins? It gives your partner more time to do stuff but I rarely see people do it. Is it bad or something?

Since this is now stickied, I’ll do my best to keep the OP dazzling. I’m thinking of cutting out some “obsolete” combos, but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea right now.

All these combos seem to be in the corner combos starting with a lot of jump ins. Xiao for me doens’t seem like she should be leaving the ground much… ever. I can’t get any good BnB mid-screen, are there any?

We got some in the works, but here’s one you might like.

st.:mp: , WC, st.:mp: , HPT will deal over 300 damage and you can tag from it.

Some of the combos in the OP should be doable if you replace the jump-ins with a st.:mk:, st./cr.:lp: , cr.:hp: to cancel into your specials.

I’m really confused on the part where you go from down hp to connecting a lp after that to continue the combo. hp takes too long to recover for me.

Also, how do you continue to juggle with more hakkeshos after doing crouch hk. They just wiff for me.

It isn’t lp, its stance cancel to talon. Sorry if that wasn’t clear.

The hakkeshos are dash canceled. I posted in the video thread what it looks like. link4u.

The HP Hakkeshos are being dash canceled to reduce recovery time of the sweep.

Ahh, I see very clever. I’m gonna stick with just one cr. hk dash cancel instead of two after the overhead. Much easier for me and still nets a respectable 375. Great find.

Use :3p: or :3k: rather than “:lp::mp::hp:” for stance changes

Had a long post here but realized it is better suited for the discussion thread.

I’m trying my best to dive into this game but I’m so overwhelmed. I finally settled on a main, staple team (I want to play a LOT of characters). I’ll be using Xiaoyu and King.

I’m not really familiar with Xiaoyu’s move-set yet. However, can someone recommend some basic BnBs/launchers?
I don’t really care if they’re that damaging or not, I just want at least 3 combos and BnBs to get stuff going.
