Which Games?
3S (PS2), CvS2 (PS2), MvC2 (DC), ST (TBA), T5 (PS2), and GGXX Slash (PS2)
These are all going to be singles unless there is enough support afterwards.

Entry fee
$10 general entry
$10 per game

9:00 AM Room is open and I begin setting up.
10:00 AM Signups and casuals begin.
1:00 PM Guilty Gear and Third Strike Begin.
3:00 PM MvC2
2:30 PM CVS2 and Tekken Begin.
4:00 PM Supe r Turbo Begins

Rules
All tournaments will be double-elimination.
During sign-ups, tell me if you are with someone and I will try not seed you against them.

On the event of a pausing or unplugging you will receive a warning, but after that it will be your opponents decision whether or not to continue or be disqualified.

You will have your name called three times, after that you’ll have 5 minutes to get to your match. If you don’t appear you will be disqualified. If you know you’re going to be gone for a while, inform us, and we’ll try to delay your match.

Suggestion, drop ST for AE, since AE is a totally different game and no question about versions, unless you have actual ST arcade cabs =) which would be sweeeeet

Also, if your trying to attract people for repeat tourney turnout, don’t spread yourself thin, problems with tournaments starting up with low local turnout is that tournaments are lacking strong numbers. You need to pick select tournaments so people show up and know people are gonna be in this tournament, it sucked in the spring because ST was basically three people, that’s not even fun, makes people not want to come back for that ya know? so if the locals are only going to play 3s/ggxx/cvs2 and not mvc2/t5 then you lose out for future tournament repeaters ya know? Like, lets be honest only really really really popular players in ky are danny and taz(no offense to anyone else) if you hold a t5 tournament know one knows if anyone is coming to play or not because there are no names! you gotta sell out of towners with names, people wanna win money(taz…) but people also wanna play fuckin comp! i only used to go to tournaments where at least 30people(KiT’s, E’s, MWC’s) were guarenteed to be in the game i was going for, if people want to get shit going on the side, go right ahead, but make something your flagship and sell that shit!

Hopefully the PS2 version of ST will be out in time for the tourney. Otherwise, I’ll let people vote on which version. I might also be able to get ahold of a board and supergun or cabinet.

if you do make it down, bring some MI cvs2 heads with you. who is still playing up there? are VDO and bhaskar still in MI or not?

big win over notre dame by the way, if you follow college football at all. that makes the whole MI/OSU rivalry game that much more important.

Hey, I don’t think I’m coming but as I was reading all the posts I saw the ST discussion. I don’t think the PS2 version hits until November so your best bet would probably be to have your friend bring his arcade version.
