hey juan! how’s life treating ya? bottom line, we still need to find a venue to hold it at. we can’t use the UK campus spot again because they didn’t allow us to have cash prizes, and that’s what everybody wants now (hell, i still haven’t spent my best buy gift cards i won from the last one).
so basically we need to find a venue, then i’ll post an official announcement with all the details. hopefully ALL the MI guys can make it down for this, it would certainly be worth it. and we both need to redeem ourselves after our PITIFUL performance at final round:sweat:

sorry, i just remember how shitty it was when you got a wide open close standing fierce with geese into…nothing (when a deadly rave would’ve killed him). and why i didn’t switch out A-bison at any point in the tournament (against jwong or otherwise) still baffles me. and yea, our money match has gotta be pretty high by now, at least $20.
chase- have you got any prices from places? if so, how much and where? i really wish we could just have it in the student center again with cash prizes…

Hey guys. I don’t know if this has been thought of yet, but do any of the apartment complexes any of you stay at have a clubhouse or something? Those are always free, and usually can be big enough. I would even consider just having it at someone’s house if it’s big enough. Chris Rose back in the day had tournaments in his parents house, and the space there was decent. It’s just a suggestion if you guys are really having difficulty finding a place.

okay, tell me more. because honestly, right now we’re struggling on a place to have it. if people didn’t mind best buy gift cards, we would have it at the cat’s den on campus again no problem. but since people want cash prizes, we run into a problem with UK’s anti-gambling policy. yes, they consider tournaments like this a game of chance. i consider a coin flip as a game of chance, not a random guy off the street vs. me in cvs2.
but regardless, people want to have a tournament, so we need to have one. i have no problem with driving to louisville, since it’s pretty close to lex-vegas. but tell me about possible tournament venues in louisville and we’ll go from there.
