Let's get dangerous! Darkwing Duck returns!

Hell yeah I loved the show when I was kid =) I’ll for sure be on the lookout when it comes out. I’m glad Boom is turning Disney properties into comics. Gives something for the kids & me to read.

With them publishing superhero oriented Disney comics, I wonder if they’ll release that Italian Donald Duck PK comic?

Is that the one where he turns into a ninja based on a video game during the snes days?

Nope ;3 That one was Maui Mallard IIRC.
The PK persona is this one-

HA! In Boom’s Walt Diisney Comics they mentioned St. Canard, DW’s town a few months back.

When there’s trouble, you call DW!

I wonder if there’ll be Duckburg tie-ins… Maybe an eventual return of the Justice Ducks and the Fearsome Five.

I can’t wait for this.

I might pick this up just because I love BOOM studios. They do the comics for Kill Audio and the upcoming Keeping Silent Secret Earth: 3 comics for Claudio Sanchez (lead singer of coheed and cambria)
I went to BOOM studio’s a week or so ago and was amazed how many disney/pixar comics they had going. I’m considering picking up all the available volumes of The Incredible’s they have.

If they manage to include GizmoDuck…that’d be fuckwin.

“WE ARE THE JUSTICE DUCKS!” “I’m not a duck!” “I used to be.” Greatest team roll call EVER!

Oh and Tizoc, Walt Disney Comics is using Donald Duck as the Duck Avenger, which is just another name / version of Paperinik.

Yes, that was the greatest roll call ever

Given of what the premise is supposed to be (Drake Mallard has hung up the cowl and so on), I want to know what Negaduck’s been up to. Did he just get bored and return to ruling over the Negaverse? The other villains are a little easier to explain (in most cases), but Negaduck was just pure evil. How did Darkwing finally defeat him, if he even did?

This just gets more interesting. Gizmoduck will return! (at least in Ducktales… hopefully both)

What gets me really curious is that Launchpad is on one of the covers for Ducktales. The link for Darkwing Duck mentions that Launchpad and Drake Mallard don’t speak much anymore. So will Launchpad be in DW much? Will he have more of a Ducktales presence as a result? Or will there be any continuity between the two series?

DW is just doing the whole ‘Time has passed and people are in different places but at the end of the story everything will be back to normal’ bit that comics like to do (TV shows do this sometimes, Reunion Specials LOL) so don’t worry about it. LP, DW and Goslyn will be a team once again by the last issue.

Duck Tales takes place before DW so the way these things usually work is the DW comic will take place after the DT comic. Launchpad can be in both books no problem.

Interview with the artist. Coming in June!

Preview of Darkwing Duck #1! This made me smile and laugh more than I thought I would!

2010 is just so beastin’

First issue comes out next Wednesday! And BTW fan response to Darkwing’s comic has been so positive that it’s no longer a limited series but an ongoing series! :clapdos:

NOBODY KNOWS FOR SURE! BAD GUYS ARE OUT OF LUCK! HERE COMES - DARKWING DUCK!

Hope being an ongoing series works out well. Can’t wait to read the first issue, LET’S GET DANGEROUS!

I was just thinking of this show the other day, might pick up the comic to see how they will continue or recreate the universe, would be fun.

This comic is so freaking funny! Every issue makes me laugh out loud!
