LETS GET DANGEROUS!!
~classic… :3
Still to this day on of my favorite intro songs from when I was a kid.
Any landing you can walk away from baby!
Totally a fan back in my youth so I’m definitely interested.
Yeah that panel was hilarious xD. Overall a great fun issue.
I just found this out, gotta go ebay them now. Thanks

Latest issue
Spoiler
There’s A LOT of Duck Tales stuff in this week’s issue with Gyro, the Gizmoduck suit, Uncle Scrooge, Huey, Dewey, Louie and Magica De Spell! Oh and that line about Quackwerks being to big to fail had me rolling!
Still haven’t gotten around to reading this, unfortunately. But from what I’ve seen they are selling really well and getting rave reviews. Issues 1 and 2 are almost in their 3rd print from what Boom Studios has been saying.
Yup, it was indeed fantastic [spoiler=]For one, I didn’t know that Taurus Bulba appeared in an ep. besides the series pilot as a cyborg. The HR-Bot was hilarious. The end was just plain 'OH SHI~'
Loved the Duck Tales characters inclusion, and lol at Huey, Duey and Louie wearing business suits xD. Launchpad being the CEO of Quackwerks is an odd decision, but I guess Scrooge needed someone he can control over there[/details]
Looking forward to the next issue
Latest issue was awesome. I really enjoy reading some of the characters’ bubbles with their voice from the cartoons ^_^.
There’s a TON of Easter Eggs in the latest issue!
Nothing to major, just info about some of the Easter Eggs
[details=Spoiler]One of the paintings in Darkwing’s house is an old Carl Barks painting, Return To Plain Awful. The original Plain Awful comic book story by Carl Barks was a tale where Scrooge, Donald and his nephews encountered a lost valley of square people who had square chickens that laid square eggs! Later he made the painting ‘Return To Plain Awful’ to indicate that they would return to that area, but he never actually wrote a sequel. Don Rosa did eventually write the sequel story which was inspired by the painting. Anyway, this is the picture that shows up in the new Darkwing Duck comic.
There’s another picture of Donald Duck running shown but I can’t quite place where that one is from.
There’s a lot more goodies like a statue of Goliath from Gargoyles, someone having small figures of the Seven Dwarves in his office and a front lawn shrub that has been trimmed to look like Pinocchio’s head! Plenty of nods to existing Marvel and DC comic book characters too![/details]
Loving all the cameos in this series! In the last issue they were really sneaky with a Goofy cameo, you have to pay attention to catch it. :lovin:
Maaaaaan the last arc was freaking hilarious and awesome. Gotta love how some of the robocops
]looked like the TMNT XD. Oh and some the other Darkwings look like either comic book character or various pop culture characters[/spoiler
[details=Spoiler]
This new arc is awesome too, wonder if THE Gizmoduck will make a re-appearance?
Speaking of which [spoiler=Goslyn]During the Crisis, The Darkwing Knight Returns version mentions how DW should be helped so that he can have more time with ‘her’. Seeing how all if not most of the DWs reacting to seeing Goslyn makes me wonder if she will die in a future arc?[/details]
#13 was great
[spoiler=]One-shot was a cool villain IMO and the cameos from the Disney stuff was really funny, but what really took the cake was the TGRI canister XD
Looks like this isn’t the only Ian that is also looking forward to the new TMNT stuff =D
DW running for mayor will be hilarious[/spoiler]
Read the latest issue. One part made me laugh out loud on the train ride home LOL! These easter egg cameos in the background are getting crazier and crazier. Oswald the Rabbit? A GUMMI BEAR! Damn!
Love this series. Looks like they will be doing a crossover story with the Duck Tales comic next. Can’t wait!
Continued in the Disney Thread!
