Not sure if known already but Rose’s cr.mk and slide can duck under codys ex bingo during its startup. Seems like cr.mk and slide loses if they are in their recovery state.
Note: Codys ex bingo is 16F startup. Rose’s cr.mk and slide are both 7F.
ex: cr.mk/slide beats empty jump ex bingo.

If Rose and Blanka are fullscreen from each other and Blanka does a fullscreen HP/EX Ball, Rose can just backdash once and the blanka ball animation ends before hitting her. Possible to punish Blanka’s HP/EX Ball, but they recover quick.
Rose max range far st.HK and far st.MK does not get hit at the start up of Blanka’s U1 and you are safe from getting hit by the ultra(imo i prefer far st.MK since it recovers faster) Additionally on blankas wakeup, Rose far st.MK beats out electricity and regular upball and gets a counterhit from them(free st.mk -> cr.mp -> ex spiral) This may actually be useful.
On Blankas wakeup, Rose max range cr.HK can avoid being EX Upball’d. Rose cr.HK get hit by Blankas U1 on startup but you’ll recover from the stun before the ultra even hits you. (Note: Very first hit of Blankas U1 does no damage, just stun).
So, I was playing casuals at a local gathering, and my friend that plays Adon jumped at me from a pretty good distance and I ultra 1’d on reaction. I am aware that Adon can simply use an air jaguar to change his jump arc, but at the distance he jumped from he would have still gotten caught. However, once I activated he did an air jaguar and it TRADED with U1. This happened one other time as well. Is this a common situation from your guys’ experience? U1 is supposed to animate on hit, so I was surprised to see it trade.
Rose still has a hurtbox around her head when U1 becomes active so his air jaguar must have hit you when your invincibility frames rant out, making his attack hit you.
Also this is not a trade. You get the damage but they receive none.
i actually have a video of my rose’s illusion spark trading with viper’s burning kick. honestly, it made me laugh because it looked funny, but i was also annoyed that the ultra didn’t land.
Kind of dumb that they get hit by U1 but take no damage. 
I just lost 10 bucks to a gief. I read the matchup but…didn’t help much. Of course its cause i suck but any advice and discussion would be AWESOME
I know Hakan is supposed to suck but I have a lot of problems in this match. Getting grabbed out of the air, difficult to anti-air sometimes and soul spark is risky because of that sliding move. Apart from cl. mk on his wake-up and soul spiral strings i really have no idea how to play the match and just end up praying i can win the match with an ultra 2 set up
Great matchup thread, so much good info! Couple of notes that might be worth adding…
Oni- Can easily be thrown out of demon slash or poked out with c.lp or c.lk (into combo string) or Ultra1. Works on EX version too. Onis like to hit your wakeup with crossup demon slashes, be aware and block forwards if you see it.
Zangief- Lariat can be punished with s.hp or Piede but only at max distance otherwise they’ll trade and Rose will go flying.
Ultra1 trick- Throw a fireball specifically to bait lariat or greenhands then buffer ultra…
Giefs EX running command grab (kick buttons) is armored, will run far and they like to use it from medium to close range. Get a quick LK spiral in or get out of the way.
His ultra1 can not be escaped or countered once it’s begun as far as i know? Either get a pre-emptive SC.mk in or don’t be in range in the first place…
and gouken 
well his cr.lk has 5F startup so he’s mostly in disadvantage compare to the others lol

Ugh I just did this to a Fuerte online and would just walk right at him waiting for him to even try anything. Fighting that character with Rose is so much less annoying then my other characters.
So unblockable on Sakura. Back throw, walk (step) forward. Jump hp.
Now we have 2.
Edit: it’s crossup on many character.
Edit2: unblockable on ryu, ken, ibuki, sakura, elf. crossup on mak, dud, oni, sim. new srk
How do I avoid that unblockable as ryu?
