Moar damage?
It should be less damage. Not sure why he said use db+2,2 for bound instead. db+2,2 is her best bound move but because it’s the fastest. Damage wise b+2,1+2 is better.
Are you sure your combo does near 90? Without a wall I’ve had a hard time breaking 70 damage. Let alone 90.
I’m almost 100% sure it was higher 80’s-90. I’m at work so I can’t double check, but when I did the combo in practice mode (yes, it’s guaranteed, I do my homework), and the damage showed up, the first thought that popped into my head was “whoa… that’s more than/equal to Lars’ strongest juggle!” (which is about 86-87 points).
The killer thing is that df2 can be replaced by uf4 and ff43. She has several options to start it, and the combo works regardless of the launcher.
<3 Leo.
Most of my damage is done with oki setups, honestly. My juggles only do about sixty-five damage or so, but that’s been doing great for me thus far.
::EDIT:: My mistake guys. The 90 dmg juggle was:
BOK 2, f+3, b+1,4… etc. not df2, f+2, b+1,4 etc.
df+2, f+2, B+1,4 etc. is 75 dmg. 77dmg if you replace df2 with WS2.
thanks for those Leo wall strats at Fall Brawl. That combo was very damaging
The Tekken Zaibatsu thread for Leo’s combos is confusing the hell out of me. Anyone want to help me clarify?
They’ve got f+4~KNK~u/f+1, f+4~KNK~u/f+1, f+4~KNK~ws+1+2
I’m not sure if this is some kind of juggle or combo ender or just a straight combo but I can’t get the KNK, uf+1 repedeately. I could be reading it wrong.
Here’s the list they have:
Staple combos (refer to bottom notes for additional info):
d/f+2_u/f+4_WS2_KNK 3_f,f+4_U/F,N,4
f+2, b+1,4~u/f+1 b+2, 1+2/d/b+2,2 B! *staple #3[I/]

Eh, I’ve got nothing. I could just be having a dumb day. Anyways back to practice, maybe I’ll figure it out between lurking and playing. I’ll probably just stick to the youtube videos, I’ve only watched the first one…
the bolded looks like a list of starters, separated by underscores, which in tekken-lingo means ‘or’
edit: reading the tz thread, ya. everything in bold is the combo starter, with everything following be the combo for the starter
Ah I see. I figured as much thanks man. That should get me in the right direction. I’ll just practice the youtube stuff first since I’m sure some of its in there. Thanks again
I just watched the youtube videos. I practiced one combo at a time til I got comfortable with it. Try this video. It really breaks the combos down.
I have started replacing the f2 in that combo to df1. That way you can easily just change the combo to df2, df1, 1, 1, 14 if you happen to be close to a wall. Getting people to the wall in the middle of a b14 etc. combo often results in not getting a proper wall combo off. Make sure to hold forward while doing the 1’s in that combo so that Leo inches a bit forward before each of them, else they might whiff after one or two.
Started finally foolin with Leo last night and it’s too fun. So many possibilities honestly. b+1+4 is a dirty move and f+2+3 has awesome ss properties.
Soo… does anyone else feel like when someone’s on an aggressive streak, it’s hard for leo to mount a comeback? I feel like i’m always baiting random launchers for a juggle, but when it comes to poke to poke I feel like Leo doesn’t have the tools to hang in there…
1,4
d/f+1
d/f+4
d/b+4,1
1,2,4
b+1,4, KNK 4
b+3,1
These are my most-used defensive techniques. Leo has some of the quickest, most annoying pokes in the game, and if her opponents rush her too much, she can punish them rather severely, especially when she’s enraged.
Sidestepping also helps.
throw out SS+f+2+3 if it’s that bad. Works just like Baek’s SS+b+4 game.
don’t bait pokes/launchers unless you know the opponent doesn’t have anything to counter it. It’ll seriously get you killed in T6 unlike T5 (found this out the hard way.)
Ha.
Haha.
AHAHAHAHAHAHPatrick Stewart.
Appreciate the tips. I’ll keep playing with Leo and learn her inside and out. I guess I have a hard time breaking up my opponents strings.
Any tips on landing b+1,4~KNK d/f~u/f+1? I know it’s used in a lot of combos, but the problem I’m having is getting out the d/f~u/f+1. I always end up just going into the stomp, or doing a low swipe. Tips?
I had a bit of problem with this the first few times I played Leo. d/f cancels the stance and u/f should be tapped quickly after d/f or else you’ll jump or hop. It’s kinda funky honestly cause Leo will look as if she’s still in the crouching motion but she’s considered standing (and you can tell considering the standing 1 animation.)
It was weird at first, but learn the timing and tap d/f, and when you press u/f+1 hold the u/f. Also, make sure you only hit the 4 once, it’s probably why you’re getting the stomp. After that it’s easy street.
