I hear you guys making mention of NERV & Cyberdome. I also know of another LAN center by the name of “eDen”, though I have not been there to vouch how good/bad it is. Are there any decent players at any of these LAN centers, or is just a wash of nameless scrub players?
I am extremely limited in my ability to play locally, unfortunately. Work 6-days a week, married, and cannot drive (being [legally] blind FTW!) So, yeah, I’m somewhat reliant on others if we ever get together to play offline.
My Xbox is currently offline, as well. Essentially, my SSF4 intake has become a 1-night-a-week shindig at my buddy’s place. Fun.

I have an idea in my head for a tournament in September sometime. I’ma talk to a few people and figure some stuff out, then get back to ya’ll. But I’m probably leaning towards having it at the Cyberdome. That place is still the best LAN center I’ve seen around here for a SF4 tournament. No one should really have a problem getting to Easton, PA. Especially since others have gone to philly/NJ.
So I’ma call the owner and see what’s good with that. And I’d like to keep it to players in the immediate area, just to see how it goes and to guage how big the local scenes gotten.
So any ideas/suggestions? (besides venue obviously)
Ok. Gpod news and bad news. Bad news first. My idea for this weekend didn’t pan out so we are still without a place to play. If anybody would be interested in hosting something let us know. The good news is that I was talking to a guy at a comic shop called The Encounter and we could have a regular venue there on fridays and sundays. I 'll keep you posted on that.

Now that I’m working 3rd shift and are going to be home on weeknights, I finally picked up SSF4 for xbox so if anybody wants to play during the week send me a FR on live.
Phetel, I’ll send you my cell number once I have it again, right now my SIM card is overseas… I’d def. be up for some games, even though I’m really not a SF player (I’m at the barely can do fireball level hehe), but I’m always up for some fighting games with many people.

I am in the middle of the sticks, but I’ll be willing to drive to The Encounter (which is a 54 min drive where I live) if you guys want a new face in your scene. I’ll keep watching this thread. I play on the PS3, but I can bring it and possibly a TV if you guys ever need extra.

I used to waaayy back when. Accent Core died out real quick where I came from. It’s a shame I’d suck at it now though. I loved Accent Core. Mained Millia all throughout the series.
