Hey guys. I just wanted to let y’all know that i won’t be able to make it to summer jam. I got a family function i have to attend that weekend. I should be able to make to grand master monthly in august though.
Just got back from Grand Masters. Was only me and Josh this time. We really need to get a group thing going again soon. Seems like summer has gotten the best of everyone lately. Btw I was talking to BigEasy and he said there most likely will not be a Grand Masters for August. Summer Jam takes precedence.
How did you guys do? That sucks about no GM for august. I was really looking forward to finally getting out to another tourney. It just seems that when one happens I got something else going on. Oh well, maybe September then.

hey fellas, new to the forum and been playin street fighter 4 for about 3 months now. got my fight sticks comin in the mail as i type so decided to join the forum. let me know if anyone lives in south side bethlehem. me and 2 roommates got a house and pretty much all we do is hang out and play ssf4. we only really did the casual pass it if you lose type gamin but were not too shabby so were tryin to get a bit more serious.

Hey guys. Not entirely new on SRK, just new to the Eastern PA boards. Been out in Pittsburgh for college, and was beatin’ around with the boys out there for a bit. Now I need to find a scene here. I’m probably the only guy in Schuylkill County that plays any fighting games, and saw in this thread there were a couple guys from Reading. I know I won’t be able to go to Summer Jam, so anyone ever wanna hook up or some friendlies?

Bethlehem/Fountain Hill
Hey fellow SRK/LV folks!
Just wanted to throw my hat in the ring here, as I only see one other person from Bethlehem on the list. Myself and two other friends play SSF4 fairly competitively and wouldn’t mind taking on some local talent.
Are there any local tournaments held in the Lehigh Valley area on a regular basis? The closest one I know of is at The Break in NJ, but we’d prefer to find something a bit closer to home, if at all possible.
Nice to meet fellow players from The Valley. Hope to hand you all a loss sooner or later. :woot:

I’m in the area and usually up for some games during the week. My weekends are packed this month. But after that I’ll be free on the weekends.
we haven’t had any huge tournaments locally, besides a few gamestop ones, and one at the Cyberdome. but when we have offline sessions we sometimes have small tourneys just for fun.
we have have been talking about having a bigger tournament…i think we just need to finalize a venue…cuase we have the people to make it happen.
so i’ll hit you up on XBL and we can get some games in.
lol at there being local tournies here… an hour and a half drive to Doylestown maybe. But yea, we should see who’s going to Summer Jam, I’d be really interested to finally play some games after two completely silent weeks here… anyone?
Hey guys. Sorry for the inactivity as of late. I have a few ideas and wanted to bounce them off you guys. I going to try and talk to Max at the Nerv Center tonight and see if we can do something on saturday. I’ll see if he can give us the same deal as last time. If not then I think nerv is gonna be a wash. Let me know if you guys would be able to do something on saturday. It might be a good opportunity to get some offline practice in before summer jam.
Also, I was thinking about doing a cookout and renting a pavillion at community park in Northampton, maybe on the 21st or 28th. The pavillion has power so we could maybe do some setups there. Let me know what you guys think.
If anybody else has some ideas or knows of somewhere where we can all get together let us know. I would like to get some brainstorming going and just throw out ideas.
UPDATE
It looks like the Nerv Center is out. It seems that they are remodeling and will not be open for 3 months. I would still like to get something together this weekend, though so if anybody would be willing to host something at their house that would be great. I did just have an idea for some place that we could go but I would need to check with them in the morning. I will keep you all posted later on today.
