Day 2 begins. Yesterday was rough. Over 24 hours without sleep sucks. The plane ride was cramped, too. We arrived at 10am local time but early check in at the hotel wasn’t until 1:30 and our room wasn’t ready until 3. After all that though, everything smoothed out. Wish you guys were here. I don’t think it broke 100 degrees here yesterday.
Nefarsus, is this still going? I am free tomorrow and Sunday.
Yea I would like to have something. Tomorrow is most likely no going to work though. If anyone would like to come over Saturday or Sunday let me know.

marquis and I aren doing so hot bot are dropped to looosers in the first round. I played what i thought was my firtst round of loosers and lost but was then told i played the wrong person so i have a chance to redeem myself against my reel apponent.
Man, so watching the stream last night was pretty disappointing. It cut out twice, once during Vangief’s match and then in Match 3 Daigo vs Ricky. Didn’t come back up for about 8 minutes. So anti climatic =. I was doing commentary in our PS3 chatroom for a few folks who didn’t have access to the stream. All at once everyone starting screaming. First time I watch Evo, and this happens. Also, Adam Sessler doing commentary was drab. Had no idea who he was and had to look him up. Some of his comments were like wtf don’t talk.
When do you guys come back home? I’m sure you guys are prob burnt out on SF atm, but lemme know if you wanna do something this coming week. I’ve been itching for an offline get together. Def would like to hear some Evo stories.
We’re heading home in a few hours. We should be home early tomorrow morning. Evo was amazing but ceaser’s palace not so much. The Rio was so much better last year. Can’t wait to get home and sleep in my own bed. We have stories. I met Rina Chan. She did the Juri Han song on YouTube. She was dressed like juri. All in all it was a great time and I hope some of you can make it next year.
Grandmasters is on the 24th, next Saturday. Anyone interested in going?
how many players are from this area? the 25 in the first post? my dad lives in easton. i’d like to know if a scene popped up around this area when i go visit. OH! and nice to meet all of you

I’m trying to get a car but I had lent some money out and wont be able to for probably 3 more weeks, so I’m stuck depending on someone else for a ride at the moment =. If anyone can help with that I can def throw up some money.
Yeah I don’t know anyone around here that is willing to drive to tourneys either so if theres anyone that wants to go and can drive it would be appreciated.
Hey I am moving stuff out to PA as we speak still need to figure out ISP out there doesn’t seem like there’s cable vision (that’s what I have out here) but if everything settled and I still have my van I don’t mind picking people up since I really want to go to grand masters
Hey bglaugher! Welcome to LHV. Glad to see you’ve found this thread. Where are you living at? As far as internet, you basically have 2 choices. We have Comcast Digital Cable and Verizon which has FIOS (fiber optics). Verizon isn’t available in all areas, like mine for example, but I ended up moving into redneckville. If you are able to go to Grandmaster’s and drive, I’ll gladly throw up some loot. If you’re settled in and want to get some offline games going sometime, let me know. Always interested in getting some practice in.
