Wanted to give everyone a heads up.
We have been searching for place to make regular gatherings. We think we have found that place at a local establishment called “the encounter” a local comic and CCG shop in Allentown. We are hoping to have our first of what we hope will actually be bi-weekly events next Friday. We hope to have more details coming soon.
The Encounter? Wow, I’m surprised that place is still in business. Is it still located on Union Blvd., or have they moved? I’d be down for some local tournament play, for sure.
Speaking of tournament play, I’m thinking about hitting up The Break in (Dirty) Jerz this coming Tuesday for their weekly gathering. Has anyone from this thread had a chance to compete there? I’m curious to see where I rank.

@Jermburn - Yeah, I used to go to The Encounter back when I was in high school. I remember they had a beat-up Gauntlet arcade cab. BTW, when we gonna play, man? Still waiting to see how good you and your buds are! :nunchuck:
In the words of Professor Farnsworth, Good news everyone!!! Next Friday at the Encounter is on at 6:00pm. As of right now we will have two setups, one on PS3 and one on 360. If anyone would like to bring their own equipment to run a third setup, let me know. I have to let them know how many people are going to come by thursday so let me know if you’re going to make it and I will add your name to the list. Also, it will be BYOC (bring your own controller). The games will be whatever anybody wants to play but will most likely be SSF4. If we get enough people to show, we could even do an impromptu tournament.
