I’m liking KOK’s gen alot…but yea it does look like he’s dropping gekiro for positioning since completing it wouldn’t give him that advantage

most of the time it seems pointless as he backs off a few seconds later. Might as well go for full damage.

it would have worked if the opponent knew to try and quick rise. most of the time they just fell and layed there. its a good trade off. 30-40dmg for good positioning. provided you have the proper spacing and timing of your kicks

right it is. but he kept dashing back. so it seems pointless. Hey I know I can’t talk much, since I used to do it a lot. but still when I try to go for my position, I try to stay there, unless I’m almost dead.

Yea I have noticed as well haha. But I know I probably wouldn’t do the same seeing as I kinda get piss with myself whenever I accidentally down HK gekrio.

well we all should know that back dashing bison too much is a bad thing as he has so many tools. but it was 3v3 play so who knows his reasons.

Yo Sharingan, just some of my tippies I’d like to give

Vs. Fei

When he keeps jumping into you like that, just stand your ground and [mantis] c.hp! You were doing good with that.
If he does the stupid chicken wing, [mantis] s.hp! It’s fast and it has a good amount of active frames so you can do it right when you see it.
Oh and you definitely need to punish harder; do [mantis] s.hp > heavy gekiro, or sweep for the knockdown and mix him up.
Whenever you get hit or block a chicken wing, a lot of Fei’s will try to continue the combo/blockstring, so just ex gekiro on hit/block. Once they catch on stop doing so and backdash.
When he did wake up ultra2 on you, do a lvl 3 FA to get more dmg out of it, and I wouldn’t suggest throwing, IMO, I would just do [mantis] s.hp > heavy gekiro, or sweep.

Vs. Akuma

Playing against online Akumas, I would never suggest doing FA when they wake up, you never know if they’ll try something desperate, like the wake up Demon you ate :\
I see that you were looking for a jump back fireball to punish with super, two things: 1. I would do [mantis] ultra instead to save meter for the next round and 2. You have A LOT of time to do ultra/super when you see the fireball, Akuma still has to come down to recover so don’t worry about doing it too late.
Slow down vs these types of Akumas. He does jump back fireball so many times you can build ultra and and hit him with ultra and still have full health! Hahaha

Vs. Honda

It hurts me to see you get hit by so many random headbutts Slow down and look at his patterns. He’s always walking back for about 2 seconds, then either doing ex or heavy headbutt, with that you can just neutral jump or lk gekiro on reaction.
If a regular oga works, in which it DID work 100% of the time, abuse the hell out of it! He doesn’t even know how to block it!
I don’t think this Honda knew what he was doing because he let you jump in like a billion times when he could simply ex-headbutt. So what I’m saying is when you play against good Hondas, don’t jump in when he has meter

Vs. Ryu

First round you did good But it would’ve been over if he knew how to dp when you jumped in. You see how he has like barely any health left? And you have about 30%? AND he’s in the corner? Leave him in the corner, wait until he jumps then anti-air. It’s okay to take some chip damage from the fireballs but do not panic, neutral jump over the fireballs sometime, just leave him in the corner and stay out of his poking range.

Vs. Seth

Ugh these stupid Seths. What I would’ve done is if I’m midscreen with these types of Seths, I would definitely do random gekiros.
Very nice on the first round where you clipped him with [crane] j.hk into ultra. I definitely would’ve missed an opportunity like that.

So pretty much get life lead, and play his game, turtle, wait for him to come to you and you got it.
I’m pretty sure you can jump in on him when he’s in the corner, he doesn’t seem to anti-air you at all.

Got kinda lucky there on the block oga > super ;D
If Bison’s do the devil reverse in the corner to build meter, that’s a free full screen [mantis] ultra1 when you see them coming down!

I really don’t mind if you guys personally ask me for advice or tips. I just did this because I’m really bored at work right now and have a lot of free time And plus Sharingan is a good player, he does things that I normally don’t do because of my habits, I learned some by watching

@Pfiffer - Uhm… I don’t have any more matches since NCR8. My team and I did play against two other teams besides marn/valle/mike. Versus the guile, my friend who uses ryu and my other friend who uses blanka.

its been a while sup everyone, I came home after my night shift at 8am couple days ago and i went on Peaceful Jays stream. Little rusty i been busy with work/college/friends Tried to go for that 40 win streak 5$ Amazon gift card. I don’t normally play on xbox, but i got to 39…lost then went to sleep right after, I had class in few hours lol I had habit of doing some AE Gen stuff

Many Combos/Links, Cross-up Ogas, Corner Setups, Resets, FACS/FADC.
Messed around with FACS a projectile to Ultra, fun to do

dude… thanks allot for the advice and taking the time to watch my low tier vids man! i will take it all in and apply it in my future matches.

thanks for the above compliment. i practice allot when i get the chance. My Gen has come along way and it all started to impove when i learned to slide MK Hands :D.

just out of curiosity… what was i doing in my matches that you dont? … learning from me… Daym i got a big head! LoL

Yooooo. Yeah Sharingan, when you were playing against the Seth and you hit him with the [crane] j.hk and you ultra’d. I have a habit of not finishing it off and instead I go for the mixup when I clearly had the opportunity to win; that or I always forget to ultra.

i always fish for KKK j.hk into U1 … 9 times out of 10 when i hit someone with KKK j.hk and have ultra stock i’ll get them. I have’nt really got a mix up game, tbh i never really know when to start to apply it. the only mix up i do it KKK over head into throw or hands. I’ve tryed to do add in re-sets in my game, but never really sucessfull using them.
