Elbows and his airthrow flipmove (whatever lol) can be countered for free with crane super/ultra if times properly. ^^
Not that it helps you now, but in the future it might be of assistance.
Hmm, any way to deal with the elbow or ‘demon’ flip elbow without having to have super or ultra? That’s just not efficient to have to spend all that meter on a move he uses through out the whole match
Somethings I know and are wondering about:
Crane cr.roundhouse can beat the elbow, but they can also time the elbow different and actually beat the cr.roundhouse.
I hear low forward (probably in both stances, but mantis would be more better) can go under the elbow and hit him, which would make sense since we can do that to other jump ins. But for some reason I feel like I’ve tried this and it doesn’t work.
Also, I’m afraid to just Gekiro the elbow because if they mix in a flip into elbow, they just end up grabbing the gekiro and doing like 200 damage >.<
AsianTom did you miss my Guy match? All you have to use is Focus Attack man. Basically you treat Guys elbow drop like Vega’s BA/Wall Dive. That really is the best punish. You can also use Crouching Mantis/Crane MK to dodge it. But I’ve been successful with just using his Mantis c.Short to hit him out of it. But Focus Attack vs his elbow is the best. I have yet to be thrown out of it. I’ve beat many great B Guy’s with it, and also it’s come in hand when I’ve lost too, but over all what I would recommend to anyone.
yeah, lol
On top of that, that gen user should of bat those balls with dash mk hands, to build up his super meters xD
He’s too jumpy, vs an experience Blanka; will put Gen in a passive state. (Jumping in like that is just a sign for digging a hole to his own grave lol)
This happens when you save replays to your PS3 or XBOX harddrives and rewatch without the internet. Since the console isn’t online, it can’t retrieve the player names. I’m like 60% sure that’s the deal… so don’t quote me on this if I’m wrong
Thanks man. Appreciate any input, + or - . I only want to get better.
ZUkUu, not sure man. I’ll have to check. But these matches are from my saved log, so that might have something to do with it. I can obviously see their names before I start the video. But like I said, I prefer to have no names so I don’t have people telling me to take their stuff down. But these are all me 100% and I’ll be uploading some losses too that were good matches.
