Like I said I dont have a lot of suits I only wear them for interviews. The Marc Jacobs store will custom fit your suit for you, as would any nice suit store. They dont ruin the clothes by stapling tags on brand names like Marc Jacobs silly. So I dunno how I could have a suit with the tags on it.
You must not buy expensive designer clothes often. None of them have price tags or tags on them.
Hey man, it’s your money. You are free to spend it how you want. But just letting you know that not everything brand name is great. Especially when it comes to suits.
Gay dudes are either. Loud and flashy. Subtle and understated.
Seems like you went the loud and proud route. Good for you. So who holds the purse in your household?
H&M is a European low-cost clothing store. Say what you want about the quality–it is pretty shoddy–but it’s fashionable. They put stuff up that’s in season and do it at a much cheaper price. I have three suits from them that I go around and pretty much roll around the dirt in, but they are good for what they are. I mean, you can get a simple black suit for $250 that is a modern cut. Their shirts are a steal at $40 and they aren’t anything to sneeze at.
And while they do have designers make cheaper forms of fashion, some of it really isn’t cheap. If I remember right the David Beckham underwear that was the best quality ran for $30 a pair. Just know what you’re getting. Hell, even the cheapest brands ain’t that bad. I bought a denim jacket at Old Navy a couple of weeks ago for $4 after my CC discount. Better than $100 for one from Levi’s or $250 for one from Diesel or even $500-600 for one from John Varvatos. I get this tailored for $50, get the sleeves slimmed and the midsection tapered, and you won’t be able to tell the difference.
Buzz wrong. Not according to sigmund freud… Hetros and Homos all develop from the original bisexual disposition.
“Those cases are of particular interest in which the libido changes over to an inverted sexual object after a distressing experience with a normal one.”-Freud. So it all starts from how the child was raised/influenced, not because of genes.
Just to clarify, I don’t view homosexuality like some sort of psychological illness but a variantion of sexuality and I am not saying they should be psychologically treated because i think that is impossible for the majority atleast. But i just don’t agree with the whole classification that people today do with it.
Transgender on the other hand is a different story, i certainly do not believe that men/women are influenced to change their genders due to dominant opposite gender genetics. I find that unscientific to be honest and it sounds so funde-doctrination type to me based on the people who keep post articles in support for it being normal.
No no I wasnt saying H&M was a bad thing, im saying that when they did H&M for VERSACE…that was a very bad thing for the mens.
H&M is successful because they changed the format of fashion. Clothing stores used to put out clothes every “season” but in the fashion world the clothes for FALL are shown in SPRING, so by the time the fall clothes come out they are already showing the clothes for SUMMER, and stores were always outdated.
H&M and Zara literally make clothes that are similar to the trends of the UPCOMING season, so you can be just as fashionable at a lower price point.
HOWEVER, what I was saying was when clothing brands do low-end versions of their own stuff. Its not as good. Like MiuMiu isnt as good as Prada, MCQ isnt as good as Alexander McQueen, Marc by Marc Jacobs isnt as good as Marc Jacobs…D&G isnt as good as Dolce & Gabbana etc etc
No. I didn’t quote Frued as a current authority, you dumbass. Frued was one of the well known minds of his time that viewed Homosexuality as something with out fault. And basically, many scientists still share his view about sexuality being developed during childhood.
Many of Freud’s findings have been disproved over the years. I mean, the guy was smart but his research ability was limited by the technology of his time. You need to learn how science works and evolves.
What findings of Freud are you talking about, the one about children not being born with a developed sexuality? Because that is the only thing i’m talking in point of and that was never orginally a finding from him. I really don’t care about the other studies/findings of Freud, that is fucking irrelevant… you can read the same with Dean Hamer, Robert Spitzer, Copeland and many known psychologists who state enviornmental factors play the biggest role for a persons sexuality. What YOU need to learn that random claimed “science” articles on the web are not true updates in science… they are more similar to some random fanatic blogger trying buff more of the egos on new age atheismXtheism beaf.
A. Here is something everyone in the psych field know.
Homosexuality was removed from the DSM due to angry protests by gay/lesbian groups, not cause of scientific research/findings.
Gender Identity Disorder was changed to Gender Dysphoria in the DSM cause of angry protests as well, not cause of scientific research/findings.
Pretty BS, science should be the only thing considered in these matters.
B. I don’t believe people choose to be homosexual or transgendered, but I also don’t believe there is any genetic basis for it either. There has been a ton of research done on both, and nothing conclusive indicating they are simply born that way. There is a lot of research that indicates that early childhood, those formative years, plays a strong role. So it isn’t a choice, “Hmm…I’m feeling like breasts today, I’ve had sausages for a week”, but rather sexual and gender roles are formed in early childhood that will carry on for the rest of a person’s life. (Though later experience can cause some slight changes as well).
C. I don’t support plastic surgery for any cause rather than repairing anything caused by disease or a physical accident. Anything cosmetic (like breast implants, gender reassignment either way, facial surgeries to look a certain way) should come out of pocket. People with pinocchio noses are distressed about it I’m sure, but they aren’t asking for nose jobs to be covered. People who lose their hair at a young age and are mocked by society aren’t begging insurance to cover their hair transplants.
I could go on. I’m all for transgenders getting respect, being addressed as what they want. However when making them comfortable at the expense of everyone else, like letting them choose the bathroom/locker room they identify with, allow them to participate in the sport of the gender they identify it, that is way crossing the line and just PC taken way too far.
