Most transgender people seem to be pretty open about being transgender nowadays (at least compared to before, much like homosexuals before they became more widely accepted). I’m just as confused as you are.
People are entitled to like of dislike trans…it’s a free country.
The only thing that bothers me is when"tolerant types"think they should tell people how to feel. We should all respect different views even if it doesn’t agree with yours.
Except that calling a transgender man a “she” isn’t forcing you to feel anything. Your feeling of entitlement to do whatever the fuck you want is drowning out their wish to be seen as the people they feel they are.

Also this logic is extremely dodgy…why is it that when a woman gets breast implants we call her tits "fake"and even acknowledge its artificial nature yet with trans people the surgical aspect is completely overlooked. Your logic would require us to call breast implants "real"just because a woman feels that’s her "true"size.
I don’t have a problem with trans people FYI, but ultimately I can’t help but not notice that the person didn’t just change genders by sheer will power unless they have a GL ring I’m not aware of.
He’s transgender now? I only met the guy once when I was living out in San Francisco. Seemed pretty cool but was so high I doubt he remembers me. Shame people around there don’t accept it. He’s a cool person.

There’s no logic behind it nor should you try to find one. This is a person who is only asking to be respected and acknowledged for the gender he/she feels he/she is. This asks almost nothing of you except to not be an asshole. It seems you can’t help it, though, so let me go even further.
I’ve learned in this world that gender and sex just aren’t the same. It’s why there are various genders now, to accommodate those who don’t feel they belong under either male or female. What sex the person is born as has little to do with the gender they relate to and they have that right. That’s how they think of themselves. You sucking shit at SF4 has little to do with your own personal identity. You can’t “practice” being transgender. Even if you could, I’m sure you would suck noodles at it, too.
For your implants logic, it’s just as stupid as your SF4 one. So please give me the night off and just insult your dearth of common sense and intelligence yourself.
Actually there is pretty of evidence in the way of neurology and cross-cultural studies that show gender and sex are 1 in the same. What people tend to think when this statement is made though is that this speaks to a tendency as opposed to a absolute…also if gender and sex are unrelated why is surgery even required. If it’s all a state of mind then can’t someone just say I’m a woman and be done with it.
Also I’m not sure why breast implants wouldn’t be the same logic. Both are cosmetic surgeries that alter someone’s physical features…both are artificial…sorry but no amount of mental gymnastics is going to overlook that a trans woman is in truth just a guy with a mutilated dick. Their entitlement to be called whatever they want won’t suddenly disperse with logic and facts.

She started recently… within the past six months I think? I haven’t seen her since SCR last year I think, before she started transitioning. She’s one of the most pleasant and nice people I’ve met in the scene, so naturally I was a bit surprised to hear that some people in NorCal didn’t accept her transitioning.
