Consider how I feel, Task’s blue and grey Udon outfit went perfect with that silver n blue.Now BOTH of them are gone!They matched so perfectly.I was gonna have a blue and grey team of Taskmaster,Ghost Rider and Doom aswell.
I’m really liking the earth tone Doom.The all red looks pretty cool aswell.I’m not the biggest fan of his white/blueberry one but I dont hate it.
Black/Red doom is still the most badass one though.I dont think Doom has any bad alts.
his alternate spikey shoulder doom is a letdown tho
so, i figured out the secret doom tech and either I don’t understand its “broken” application, but its something really obvious and is a slight nerf to my doom style though so poopdicks. Anyway when you plasma beam super in ultimate it doesn’t compelte the animation for plasma beam anymore. I understand only one “Tech” for this and its very situational, so there yall go.

In the interest of having the UMvC3 character threads be as awesome as possible, I am posting here to offer up my current Ultimate Dormammu Thread as a base skeleton to anyone who intends to manage a character thread, or something similar, in Ultimate. It is currently stripped of information, and will remain so until about a week before release. I am not attempting to toot my own horn, but rather offer to others what took me quite a bit of work to do, so that those who would rather not spend the time on such things do not have to.
I have received a lot of compliments to-date about the structure, and a few people have requested permission to use its structure for UMvC3, so I thought I would go around and make the offer to others who might not be aware that someone out there has already done the grunt work for them (haha). Because I am posting this in all the character forums, and this is time consuming on its own, I have not taken the time to check for how developed the thread I am posting on current is. Thus, I ask that no one be offended at my suggestion if your character forum is well constituted already - I mean no intrusion upon your methodologies!

You seemed to figure this out in the match but against Dog don’t call Haggar unless he’s jumping in on you. If blocked, defend haggar with footdive or pushblock.
In game 3 that should have been a dead dog at 37:07. Forward throw into the corner, mash Hard kick guarantee’s a combo, corner combo three loops, level 3.
If you are considering team changes, I long ago swapped Haggar for Dante Jam session. Does pretty much the same as haggar, just not invincible. I don’t know the value of Dante to Wesker though.
Sounds crazy but if team changes are coming Viper/Doom/Dante (any order) may fit you. If the tier thread is to be believed your team is low tier right now.

I just picked up doom and i was playing some online matches and i realized something i can combo with doom but i dont exactly know how to move in with doom to get into position to combo. I run zero/doom/akuma. I was callin akuma in an attempt to get in but i couldnt stay in and i was having a hard time confirming…any help would be appreciated
Compared to Zero Doom cannot just get in. Akuma is a good assist for helping him get in though so you may need to simply change your approach. If you start with putting beams on screen you can notice how your opponent moves to get through it. When he looks vulnerable try something. The goto moves are superjump up forward air dash down forward j.M, jump dash j.M, and footdives. If your opponent is making obvious jumps maybe try to counter throw.
Any particular matchup/situation that is getting you blown up?
You can also try mixing in different assists. Zero/Doom/Ammy or Sent may be the best lockdown/practice my mixups assists. Once you feel comfortable try switching back to Akuma.
whenn using doom/akuma it is really important to be able to wavedash quickly in order to catch up to akuma’s tatsu while it bounces the opponent. You can try to do something like box jump j.m or sjuf ADDF j.m, cr.l , call akuma, cr.h. This is a pretty easy way to hit confirm. If you hit them akuma will bounce them, if they block you’re in a good position to try and setup a quick high/low mixup. When playing with doom it really helps to not try to force getting in. Take your time, you have some distance tools to do some chip and mess with the opponent. Wait for a good moment to get your chance, and be wary of the dreaded air grabs from characters like ammy and wesker.
well im playing online (since thats the only thing i can do) and its just seems impossible to get in with doom point blank period i will call akuma and get in but then i will get pushed out and zoned again. When i have them cornered i can mixup and win with doom anywhere outside of that im free with doom. I got shut down by magneto dante ryu akuma and some others but mainly these keep showing up on teams
