Well … I didn’t know were to post this combo vid. It is pretty good as far as I can say (LB2 ain’t an SS in terms of weapon Bemus). I loved this Kaede double uppercut in Speed Mode, never thought about this little thing …
Should’ve just put it in the “Advanced Strategy” thread.
No point resurrecting a dead thread.
O. Kaede can actually do 3 DP’s in a row after the launch on his speed combo special, and if you’re in the corner with Kaede, you can do early DP > Reverse :l::snka: (Reset) > :u::snkc::snkd:
That video won’t load for me in either Firefox or IE by the way.
This thread is awesome though, and deserves the bump.
Much thanks Kyokuji, any chance you could post some new things? Say, a basic Power Lee guide perhaps? I always used him in Speed…
Mmh I use Firefox and it works just fine … Btw, thx for the Kaede info mmh you can also see the throw thing in the vid…^^ It is really worth a look.
Lol, does anyone actually bother to read the “Advanced Strategy” topic?
There are 4 character guides down at the bottom of the guide, and then the rest of the posts have guides for a couple other characters that people asked for.
In guess they do, or else they woudn’t ask for help … Just because noone is posting doesn’t mean noone reads it.^^ I just informed myself a bit again today to compare some combos etc. for fun. The only thing which still interest me in the game are the crazy combos and basics to keep my fighting game knowledge up. Like the definiton says (The term knowledge is also used to mean the confident understanding of a subject, potentially with the ability to use it for a specific purpose.) it serves a purpose. That’s why I will continue to read your good info here and there and I think others will too …
Lol, I just said that because he asked me for a guide I’ve already done and posted.
Oh lol, then sry, anyway keep it up Kyokuji.
hi is their a power mukuro combo or any strategy posted around here, thanks i would like to know how to use him better.
Advanced System FAQ
Bottom of post
Lol, seems like more people are interested in who’s top than in actually learning how to play.
lol making assumptions already? i chose mukuro way before i saw this tier list. i guess asking for combo list and strategy for a character makes me assume things these days, oh well, thanks for the mukuro stuff.
and are theyr any setsuna combo and strategy cant find that anywhere.
No, I was irritated because I already made a character strategy FAQ that you obviously didn’t bother to read before you asked.
It’s very annoying when someone asks me for something I already wrote. Especially when it’s on the first bloody page of the forum.
well got any setsuna?
Setsuna is very very basic, there’s really not all that much to say about him. I’ll write something up for him when I’m in the mood. For now, all I’ll say is. All of his specials are punishable on block, so don’t think that spamming :qcb::snkb: is a good idea.
On power, all you really need with him is :uf::snkb: > :d::snkb: > :qcf::snka: > :qcf::qcf::snka::snkb:, and the occasional low poke/dash throw mix-up. Mix in some jumping A/C’s for air to air.
Anyone wanna explain the differences of power and speed Kagami and why power is so much better? I’ve been using speed more effectively recently than the other, and I’m curious as to what I’m missing.
Also, I was planning on getting the last blade 2 dreamcast port. Is it worth it?
Ahhh you play this game eh oldboy?
Man come on up to Denton and I will be more than happy to play you in it…
Come to Denton and you can play the DC port for yourself…
nothing beats the arcade version…but the DC version is surely better than the shitty PS2 port.
I’m looking for some LB2 comp…so come on down!
I might be coming up to the UNT campus next weekend, you around there?
Power Kagami can hit:
Dive > :dp::snkb: > DM off any successful air parry, as well as having one of the best low pokes in the entire game.
Even if you can’t do his :d::snkc: > :l::snka::snkc: consistently, you can still do :d::snkc: (x4) and it does a lot of damage and is very difficult to avoid/counter.
Also, for every successful jump-in, he gets :l::snka: > :dp::snkb: > DM which is extremely easy to hit if you can low-jump consistently, and does a lot of damage.
He also probably has the fastest run speed in the game, which means it’s easy to nail his command throw on people, and that does more damage in power.
That also means he’s fast enough to punish ground recoveries even on power. You can dash in and nail them with a DM combo if they do it. Mix in his high priority jumping A, and you have a very deadly character.
Is there a difference between Speed and Power when recovering?
