You recorded that exact video or another video that glitch? Is the floating glitch what allowed the six :d::snkc: kicks?
The guy says he got it from GodWeapon, so Iām almost 100% sure thatās our video, since Bobo was an admin on there for a while.
And yeah, the float (itās actually a double float, since we found out that the command throw puts him up even higher) lets you do a ton of 'em. It took me forever to do it because it was online and that last link is a one-framer. Thatās why weāre like four rounds in on the video.
I think you mightāve even been able to do it back and forth and go progressively higher and higher, but I donāt remember anymore.
Thanks again dude, i can do the glitch now:

I donāt think because after the Floating glitch, kagami automatically go down one ālayerā every second until he reaches the ground (and if he jumps again heāll return at the normal height).
You mean go back and forth with the command grab? That would be interesting.
I can attest to the difficulty of that combo. Iāve been trying to get that :d::snkc: + :l::snka::snkc: + :dp::snkb: link combo down, but itās really frustrating. Iāve given up for the time being and Iām playing EX to start working the link into my game without the insane difficulty in executionā¦ let alone hit confirming. Thankfully itās pretty easy to hit confirm :d::snkc: + :l::snka::snkc: + :snkb: + :dp::snkb: although Iām probably only executing it properly around 50%.
I just thought of something. Does it interpret you as being in the air or on the ground? I think I remember you saying that :dp::snkb: was not air blockable. Iām wondering if you could add that on afterwards without your opponent being able to block. Actually, looking at the video again it seems like the command throw recovery animation is too long.
What if the floating Kagami late parries another dive? Iām not sure if itās possible given the angle, but I know Bobo and I experimented with it.
You are right again! I have made some experiments and pics with kawaks:
2 floating glitch applied: http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/7372/lb22ndfloatpg2.png
3 floating glitch applied: http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/3410/lastbld2003yy0.png
Iām not sure if itās possible infinite times
Lol thats a pretty cool glitch. Too bad its not particularly useful.
It probably is, but itād be a gigantic pain in the ass to time since neither Kagami can re-position themselves after the second parry. I knew Bobo and I managed to get past the second float though.
Need a little help with the ban listā¦
We are having a tourney at the mn neo gathering at the end of jan and this will be the first time we are doing a last blade 2 tourney. Is it safe to go with this?
Yes. Itās basically just infinites and stuff that leads to infinites.
About these combosā¦do you mean to say that you can do F, B, F+C in the air? Cuz the way I do it is like this-
St. Cā>QCF+A-JC->Jumping BxxHCB+C
^I press B early so that the throw connects. BTW can I link his St. C after Cr. C? Cuz thatās what I understood from your combo.
Jump canceling in this game is just doing a move and ending it with :u:/:uf: but making sure you still do the move normally. This shortens the recovery for some reason. Maybe I should call it something else, lol. Basically what happens is that the game thinks you jump canceled the move, so it axes the recovery on it, but you still stay on the ground.
Ignore that soft ban crap; itās not consistent enough to be true, and I deleted it.

^Plz tell all this is only possible in the DC.
Most of those are very basic combos that I already have listed, or theyāre some variation of jump-in, launch, super. That corner combo he showed for Yuki doesnāt work either. You can just jab her out of that super, so itās almost completely useless.
Someone should run a tourney for this game at EVO 2008.
I think Dark Geese tried once before, but attendance was lousy, and nobody knew what they were doing really.
Soh put some more match videos up. Iāll toss up some links later.
i dont get why he put it as DC when those combos are obviously recorded in winkawaks
China VS Japan Tournament
http://www.17utt.com/yuehua/04xiazai.html
Someone directed me to this. Apparently the Chinese scene went head-to-head with the one in Japan. Some of the guys youāve seen in the ranbats Iāve posted like Daiki and K9999 are in these matches. It happened just recently, and itās a pretty big event considering the gameās relative obscurity in the tournament scene. This plus MikaDo starting to host tournaments for it is sort of like a mini-revival for the game. At least in Japan.
Just click a video, and itāll link you to a forum where the match is posted.
K9999 lands a crazy combo against Daiki in one match.
The tournament was a 5v5 round robin event apparently. The Japanese won, but it looks like the Chinese put up a good fight.

EDIT:
wow, one of the Murkuro players actually links <- A, to B and used DM during the match
