A few of a n00b question this so forgive me if i’m asking it in the wrong place…

Your plexi’s look fantastic and I want to order the black extended but first:

  1. do I need to remove the red edging on my TE?
  2. do I need to remove the metal plate or artwork to put this in?
  3. do the snap in buttons work fine with it - it seems like a few people have had trouble with them

  1. For extended, yes. but don’t fear, it’s easy, it just pops off (Obviously remove the wiring, you’ll need to do that to get the plexi in anyway)
  2. No, the metal plate stays, you layer it: Metal plate > Artwork > Plexi.
  3. Yes they do. I’ve always been weary personally of the force breaking the plexi, hence I use screw-ins. But that’s just me being paranoid :lol: snap-ins work fine, if they’re a little tight you can sand the snaps down a little.

Francys Paye gave me the hint that people could add some paper artwork under the etched button inlay disc, too. In case you don’t linke to see the mechanics.

Pictures was taken mid of the night under my desk lamp. So the etching is shining yellow. They`re pure white in daylight of course!!!

They are pretty awesome. I’ll be putting in an order for a plexi/art/dutwasher very soon. I assume that those custom dustwashers wouldn’t be able to fit a stick with shaft cover? They look like they are cut without.

Hey thats fine by me, it just seems like the art wouldn’t fit right if it was made to fit a shaft cover. Keep them coming, I really like the arrowed dustwasher but its really nice to see something different. The Shadaloo one is full of win.

In any case, I don’t actually hold any part of the shaft when playing (douchebag hold ftw!) so it wouldn’t affect me if it didn’t have a cover :lol:

Ninja edit: I believe he posted the templates for the washer and stuff a few pages back, so I’d refer to that for custom designs :wink:

No, this ones doesn’t fit for use with shaft cover. But no problem, i can set some for use with Shaft Cover!

I should make a kind of custom idea page with templates on my site… :wink:
