lost a match, and my precious precious points, just tonight to that evil shortcut bug.
After a knockdown you can do a quick tatsu and on Rufus, Seth, Zangief and T. Hawk and it will still hit them if they crouch. This will definetly work on Hugo in Ultra. You can do it on the other characters but if they crouch you will whiff. I found three setups where it can become a good mixup.

The combo at the start does 1015 stun. You can stun Zangief and T. Hawk if you do a s. hp instead of the s.mp -> cr.hp and if you do an Ex fireball into a mp. running palm before the Ultra.

Have you guys ever felt the need to fake sweep?
Just recently I added that to my arsenal because people tend to jump when I sweep.
I guess its like faking fireball and sometimes maybe covers that option too.
I use clk it recovers fast enough to anti air or avoid focus crumples.
Doesn’t sweep recover fast enough on almost all characters that you can kongo them if they jump at it? If you can block it you could have kongoed it.
Theres tons of jumps including dive kicks where sweep doesn’t recover fast enough.
Also the opponent can empty jump.
Outside of dive kick or some sort of special move to cut a jump short, if you sweep and a person jumps at the same time, I don’t believe they can hit you before you recover.
It is 27 frames, from start to finish for our sweep.
The fastest jump is 38 frames. I understand we are not timing if a person lands before we recover from sweep, an opponent attacks you well before they land. Jump attacks also have start up. Would be interesting to test.

Yep Blanka is the worst normal jump, and yes there are special move jumps which are hella fast.

i cannot brother…(lo siento pero no en esta momento) partially because i have to check my notes the journey takes you this far, you must decide the path now…ill be on tomorrow…ill practice it myself, theres a few different loops i made w an os at either the end or beggining of the dash, theres alot of options i guess(theres different trigger points for the os’essess) then i can do a session w ya, if you have time

you are +5 after cl.hk.
cr.mp and cr.lk are the only buttons that hit, iirc.
if you feel like living dangerously, a 1 frame link from cr.lk to ex.tatsu is possible against some characters, but enjoy your roflcopter punish if you miss it.
otherwise you have cr.mp to fireball or flip, neither of which are safe.
the mindfuck choice is cr.lk dash throw

1 frame link but see if it works. It works on almost all characters if you jump in first…
Also, quoting from an old post of mine…

This is for 2012 but NJ.HP > cl.st.HK > st.mp works on just about EVERYONE in the cast. Same with cl.st.hk > st.mp. That means that on all but like 5 or 6 people you will be able to do a jump in cl.st.hk > st.mp xx mp palm The reason cl.st.hk is being changed to 5 active frames for the first part is so that reeling animation won’t make the first hit whiff. Cast that neither of these works on is: Ken, Ryu, Sagat, hakan, Dan, and E.Ryu Only the cl.st.hk > st.mp works on: Juri Jump in first w…
And finally, try doing sweep after the cl.st.hk hits. It works on Chun Li and may work on Rose, I am not sure. You would have to test it yourself if you want to know.

As i said i do it on Roses wakeup, she can’t reversal it at all if she has U2, I don’t know about U1 but I rarely see it. (Her special reversals don’t work either, ofc.^^)

If it weren’t a 1 framer I would always go for your option, but I will try it in training see how I hit it.
Sweep doesn’t connect, I press it most of the time right now, since people generally fail to block it or at least never mash me out of it.
I often get a counterhit though, how much more frames does one get after that?
