Although I’m not big on my TC it’s been fun running into some of the SRK guys here. I’ll be looking forward to your competitions/rooms, but for now that old fucker in Hard infinity mode has been my source of challenging fights.

Honestly, supers ruined this game for me. It doesn’t reward the winning player, at the very least make it like other Capcom games and make the attacking player gain more meter than the person taking the damage. Supers make it a defensive game. I know it’s beating a dead horse, but it’s really bad!

Honestly, I would not make a judgement on the Hero Skill until we (SRK players and other capable players) actually get in a room and mash each others heads in for hours on end.

But it is irritating to play against scrubs who land it thanks to lag.

I calculated it, and he would have had to play a match every 2 minutes for the entirety of beta. Very interesting indeed.

I’m really worried about the new attacks they’re adding like completely changing the game though. Possibly end up putting certain classes at a bigger disadvantage… Guess we’ll see.

I’m also not a big fan of the small space evading covers, but spamming evading against BJ’s is pretty vicious. I’ve never been able to consistently hit a bj until I started tapping up and down like it was my job.

It was also kind of disheartening the shear amount of MT’s I saw, i’m thinking i’m going to change my character next time around and end up sucking all over again.

Seriously though, first 3d fighter with supers? Half ass em in for the win.

I wasn’t aware you guys we’re just uploading the matches individually. I wanted to make one long video covering the entire tournament. Kinda like the FFA ranbat vids if you’ve seen em. Maybe when you upload those matches I’ll make the video just for my own pleasure ^^

I think the last thing this game needs is something half assed. Needs to stay solid to start building the playerbase and community for it. I dunno about supers but I was always a fan of EX type moves, using some meter for a slightly different and maybe more powerful version of a move just to add some more depth. Any of that is kind of out of the question though, game would have to be redesigned and rebalanced, would take a long time to put any system like that in.

There actually is a /join command, as well as /where for locating users.

Supers/Ex, u never know. New styles maybe.

Supers? There’s no need for that mess, new styles in the future perhaps.

I don’t want this game to have infinite or game breaking combos. There are some suggestions that would be outrageous changes to the game engine. I just want to give them some feed back for realistic improvements… but people suggesting adding super moves and supers bars or giving custom combos? That’s ridiculous and changes the way the game is meant to be played.

If you want custom combos or super moves, well there are plenty of games with that already.

I agree with gl0ry. CCs or supers would be game breaking. Fights are already short anyways. When people get meter all it’s going to be is some turtling and boring clock play, and one right guess = win. No supers = people actually fight.

Here is some of what I think needs improving:

-If the lag is going to be bad, the match should never happen.
-Tournament mode. I think tournaments should be a way of determining rank. Streak matches are partly based on luck because anyone of any skill level can fight you. Also, maybe have special tournament holidays where you can win items. MAYBE even have the points in the holiday double to your score on the tournament system. Maybe the ranking system should be like the APEX system.
-Gyms, and a gym bank
-Tag mode , just like tekken tag
-Wider side steps
-Some type of move that gives judo frame advantage, this will actually set up a very dangerous throw game. Maybe some type of longer ranged command throw but to do this, judo might need a new moveset so this may not be possible.

If there is a tournament mode, I think ranked ones should be round robin. Everyone is playing on seperate machines instead of one arcade cab so things will be quicker.

And the first to mention P2P:

The game is supposedly p2p but it really doesn’t feel like it at all. There’s a genesis emulator out called Kega, and it features p2p netplay with no delay. I’ve played CE/HF with my friend in cali and there is no button delay, instead there’s frame skipping, which is a little annoying at times, but waaaaayyyyy more tolerable than button delay. Is there anyway this can be incorporated into kwonho??

Though it is nice to know that we were all in agreement in the beginning of no supers. Probably the Devs wanted to test it out in our CB instead of putting it into the functioning Korean version and have a backlash.

Haven’t played them. For all I know they played scrub friend over and over, because I haven’t seen hide nor hair of them. Still is suspect that his rank doesn’t depict his enormous win streak despite the disconnects.

The lag actually isn’t too bad. You just have to find some people to play with lower ping. So here’s my tip to everyone:

DO NOT PLAY STREAK MATCH!

You’ll constantly get thrown up against people with horrible connections, and you can’t kick them. So, play single match instead; that way you can kick the high ping people. It makes the game more fun.
