Korean arcade parts discussion

Well, I finally got my two myoungshin fantas come in. I found the microswitches “connectors” or whatever these are called to be bent. Is this fine and normal? Can I just bend them straight?

You can bend them back gently

Golden fanta 2nd batch is done. I will update the detail and replaying PM latter, afterwork. If you want to add another items, please PM me. I will start collecting the payment tommorow, and ship the packages next week.

@wazwuz does the 2nd batch include a switch support?

He said earlier that he wasn’t including them by default, but they are available by request.

Sounds like they come default from this post but I’ve seen other posts that seem contradicting thus why I asked for clarification.

I finally got to the post office & picked up my Crown CWL-309Helpme-K-JMS-ST35 lever I already had a standard Myoungshin Fanta in my TE so to save work I decided to swap out the Gersung V1623A2 switches on the Myoungshin with the Panasonic AM51630C69N on the Helpme.

The Myoungshin Fanta instantly felt more responsive than ever my movement in Tekken seemed more consistent as soon as I started using the new switches the difference is hard for me to explain other than a somewhat snappier feel it’s more so the in-game results that are noticeably better, The small increase in the Panasonic switches resistance compared to the Gersung’s is noticeable but only slightly the Panasonic’s also sound a bit quieter. I would recommend the Panasonic AM51630C69N over the Gersung V1623A2 based one my brief experience & I’ll try to let you guys know what I think of the Helpme with both sets of switches.

Anyone get a reply from @Wazwuz yet?

Not yet

yes. but this support is not finished yet, I barely have time to go to laser shop.

I will give a free Transparant silicone 35 grommet as a bonus, one for each person. please test it and give me feedback.

also, I have one set of 9mm shaft + 16.5mm actuator (stock myungshin size). let me know if you want it. price is 15USD/set

Golden Crown update:
btw, I also make first batch Crown Silicone Grommet only for 10 sets
1 set = green 45, blue 55, red 65. price is 12USD/set (since crwon grommet is thinner and have 2 grove, doing 35 hardness is way too soft)
PM me know if you want it?. and promise me you will do review (or at least feedback) about it.

@wazwuz I’m interested in the 9mm shaft + 16.5mm actuator set. I sent you a PM. Would you happen to have smaller size actuators, like 14.5mm or 15mm, for purchase as well?

from the first batch tester, we know 14.5 is not working well and barely playable, and 15 is playable but hard to hit diagonals. so it won’t included on Golden mod anymore.

Yeah the 14.5 actuator only really works with the thinnest shaft. While it should replicate what the Green Game Land modded Fanta is, I do now believe it wont be good for most people.

Will the Crown grommets work on the Crown CWL-309Helpme-K-JMS-ST35 lever?

Edit: Do you have any more of the Golden Fanta angled actuators?

Thanks for this @wazwuz , I was wanting to try something similar/comparable to an Airbag Fanta, and work my way up.

Anyone know if the crown 307 jms switches are the Panasonic AM51630C69N switches? Id love to try these switches

of the CWL-307ST is different of that of the CWJ-303 models. The most common difference is the bottom end as the switches on the 307 are slightly more separated than that of the 303. This more or less relates to a larger actuator. While the regular 307 has a large actuator compared to the 303, the ST variant has an even larger one. Unfortunately, the actuator combined with the sensitive Matsushita switches included don’t match well with each other.

Welp thanks lol

EDIT: WAIT, aren’t matsushita switches Panasonic ?

Oh snap! Brain fart when I typed that.

But on another note every picture I’ve seen of 307’s there is no labeling on the switch like there is on confirmed Panasonic’s. Maybe just shitty pictures?

The 307 was available with a choice of Panasonics or Gersungs, originally.
