@wazwuz The Golden Fanta joystick needs a smaller sized collar, similar to what is found on the 309MJ to accommodate for people with Japanese cases, also the most widely avalible cases you can get are Japanese style with JLF. I have to mod the stick I own to put the Fanta in it, buy a super expensive case OR buy some obscure, ugly case from Korea when I Love my Madcatz TES. If the collar on the 309MJ doesn’t affect performance, that would be the last mod needed to make the best Korean lever. HINT HINT lol
IMO the real Fanta is the one that use collar, because it fuctions as the “gate”. I know it is hard to mount Fanta with collar to sanwa mounting (heavy moding), but I think it will worth the effort, since it will give you full experience of Fanta stick. The goal of this Golden fanta is to make the ultimate Fanta experience, so I choose Fanta Airbag as a base.
but, I will keep your idea that for another project.
Apperentlly red silicone is too hard for me. I’m asian, I don’t have big strong hands, but im not small either, and the latex that come with fanta airbag is a bit too soft for me.
To overcome problem like this, I have an idea to make this setup for grommets so we can have every tension and find which that works for us.
Green silicone is 45
Light/sky blue silicone is 50 (additional grommet)
Latex inside airbag is 55 (original airbag latex grommet)
Dark blue silicone is 60 (this is work best for me now)
Red silicone is 65
Also I have idea to make the cones actuator, diameter is 17,5 to 16mm (about 5’ slope). The idea is to make parallel (more) contact point to switches actuator when enggage, just like sanwa JLF actuator did.

I think why not complete this project by providing 11mm shaft. Since I have try 10mm and i still want to make the throw even shorter.

@slaycruz I emailed him yesterday, since it was late afternoon over here, I wouldve thought he would have received it already. I ordered these for my community and now they all have to wait on me. The crappy thing is I could understand that one or two were 303s on accident but all 7 were 303MJs instead of the 309MJ… With international shipping, this is going to be difficult.

@wazwuz 65a grommet, 11mm shaft, 17.5mm actuator and airbag matsushita switches. I think this will be Great for SHMUPS and Tekken. Also how are you testing these parts? Have you been using them in game in fighting games? I just wan’t to know if any of these parts are going to be hard to use in fighting games like Tekken.
I test it by playing some ranked match in SFV. I have no problems using any fanta for playing any fighting games. Every combination will have thier own trade off, for me I like short throw and sensitive stick, also fast neutral, then I choose shaft, actuator, and grommet thats support my preference

I like sensitive, medium hard, short throw Fanta stick, and now my dream comes true, I have found the perfect fanta for me using this Golden mod.

So, I just try different config to find perfect setup for wavedhasing in tekken. I find this setup is pretty solid for me:
cones actuator.
Sky blue silicone, apparently my hand is not strong enough for Dark blue doing long sessions 
10mm shaft.
btw, here is the durometer (hardness) readings for every grommets (± 2 reading errors).
keep in mind that silicone is different (superior) than latex, even it gives the same hardness reading, it will gives different feel.
when you have try this Golden Fanta grommets, you will know what I’am talking about.

My $0.02. While I haven’t participated in this project, it’s been really cool seeing it both come together and how quickly it came together. I also have to imagine, especially after seeing what the finished bronze shafts look like, that there will be demand for more of these. From a purely business standpoint I would suggest trying to do some sort of tie-in with the upcoming Tekken 7 console release. Again, @wazwuz seeing how you put all of this together was quit impressive.
yes, it is last minutes idea, and the result is perfect for this project. it is flat, I use laser cut.

@wazwuz It sucks that I couldn’t be part of the reviews but that doesn’t really matter. I’m glad to see that there is a way to get one of these in the future. And who knows even Focus Attack or makestick might be interested. I would say a custom made bat-top would make this so much cooler. I’m just not a fan of the Sanwa bat-top and to be honest it doesn’t really offer a range of colors.
