Hello! Which place is ATEC, I just know of the place by Isu Station.
ATEC is in Sindang.
It’s “hidden” from casual players 
last weekend I couldn’t go to the Seoul area because I was on standby for work. I did get to play some games though on my military base against Samson’s Dudley on Friday. His Dudley is sick… I had to shelve Yun/Ken and pull out my dirty Chun-li to win confidently.
I have to do escort duty all of this fucking week, but I dunno if I have to do it on Sunday. If I don’t have to do it I’ll be at ATEC.
If you let me on your team… I GET DIBS on CHUNsta (my best character) if it’s a unique character selection tournament like it usually is for SBO.

I’m pretty sure I have to work Saturday, but I’m not sure about Sunday yet.
However I have a GOOD chance of being able to go Sunday.
EDIT I’m not going tonight. I’m too exhausted/tired from work to take a 2 hour train there. I will try hard to go on Sunday though for sure

Sorry for my performance. I wasn’t really able to concentrate on the matches because I got a call from my GF who I haven’t seen in over a month (she was working in Italy) asking me to come see her in Itaewon. So instead of focusing on the opposing teams I was outside talking to her on the phone sporadically.

I suppose its not likely, but I am itching to play this game. I happen to live around Isu Station in Seoul so I’ve been stopping into the arcade there a bit. It seems they removed their Third Strike machines now though so I doubt I will go much any more. I won’t travel all the way to Sindang for Third Strike, but I would for SFIV. Any word on a place getting a machine in Seoul?
wow wtf… Isu got rid of 3rd strike. I’m definitely not going there anymore.
I’ll probably go back to Sindang in three weeks. Next week work has me tied down on the weekend and then next weekend after is my 21st B-day so I wont be at Sindang for a while.

I’ll be heading over to Pusan for study exchange for 3 months this September. Please, please, tell me that there are decent arcades there, lol. I can’t believe it…here in Singapore, they’re getting SF4 just as I leave so I’m praying there’s an arcade in Pusan that’s getting it!
Anyhow, I’ll definitely be stopping by Seoul during the term break and/or random weekends and I’m looking forward to meeting you guys for some 3s/CvS2/SF4(hopefully!) action.

me and Samson are both from Osan we play 3rd strike together. We both are no joke skill wise… :devil: I’m here till December 2009 (2 year sucker) so you and me will probably PCS in the same time frame
I have no clue what games you play… besides wanting to play SF4, but I play any game competitively just about. CvS2, Marvel, 3s, ST, Accent Core, Alpha 2, 3… lol basically just about anything Capcom related or Guilty Gear.
Matter of fact me and Samson will be playing some games on Sunday. Will ATEC be closed due to Chusok (sp?) holiday? I don’t want to spend 2 hours taking a subway all the way to Sindang only to find that the place is closed or empty.
PS: @Laugh… lol man I have been really inactive in the arcade scene, sorry! I can’t help it… I’ve been with a new girl for over a month now. She pretty much eats my weekends. She’s seeing her grandparents this weekend because of the holiday, but I dunno if ATEC will be active this weekend.

I’ve gone down that road. Be careful. Are you hourly or salary? If you are salary and you’ve graduated from some sort of prestigious University you can demand at least 2.4 million. Which company are you with? There are plenty of horror stories at eslcafe.com’s forums. Really, I come across like a total pessimist concerning teaching English in Korea but it’s only because a lot of my knowledge concerns its dirty underbelly. I will be back in Korea later this month.
