Ahh. An LS-33 will be a good fit for this case, the shaft height will be nice. Looking forward to pics.
Get one! I think it’s totally the best pre-HRAP retail stick ever released. Yup, even better than the Namco. After using it for a while I’m convinced. There are five on Y! J Auctions… :bgrin:
Yep. The condition could have been better for what I paid for it but it’s solid! The LS-56 is a little different from the LS-32s I’m used to using but it still has a similar feel.
The LS-56 in your Hyperstick is old, though. For instance, the grease on mine was dried solid and the microswitches were fairly worn. You might want to try swapping in a new LS-56; the feel is quite different from an LS-32.
It’s a hobby that’s strangely engrossing! But I’ve been doing it for years, so that Hyperstick logo only took about three hours or so. Check out the Capcom logos in my sig too…
Cool stick. Similar layout to the Fighting Stick SS or PS.
hey… where’s the Fighting Stick appreesh thread!?
This looks better though, and such a good deal for the time!
Us Pre-HRAP stick owners have to stick together! Kids today… in my day you needed a dremel and a whole weekend if you ever wanted to pop a sanwa or seimitsu in your wonky 32bit era stick case.
No doubt, but that’s the reason Hyperstick is such an awesome anomaly…full Seimitsu out of the box, and a very easy mod (relative to other sticks of the era) :bgrin:
NRX and myself had the same idea at the same time: put this logo on a vintage-style t-shirt.
I never thought I’d collaborate with someone on a design project, but we were on the same page every step of the way. Full details and how to get one are in the trading outlet here:
I really wanna get a hold of one of these things, but it’s starting to seem impossible. I’m 4th on the jap-sai waiting list, and they told me that they are having a hard time finding one under $180.
